    Chapter 337

After his spiel, Magnus nonchntly added, "By the way, these designs really hit my sweet spot. I''m

quite intrigued by the creator behind them. Could you introduce me to your brilliant designer, Mr.

    Williams?"

Williams nodded in agreement. "Of course, of course. Mr. Andersen, this is our chief designer at

Stitches Fashion, Ms. Diana. All the creative inspiration in ourpany stems from her."

With those words, Williams pushed forward a woman who stood behind him. She was a blonde beauty

with emerald eyes and a curvaceous body. But s, she was not Natalia.

Magnus'' hopeful gaze dimmed instantly. He could hardly believe that the one who could create such

familiar designs was a woman like that.

No, he must''ve been deceived. How could this woman understand the magnolia?! Magnus frowned, his

displeasure evident. "Williams, are you sure she''s your chief designer?"

Williams'' expression froze for a moment before he smoothly responded, "Mr. Andersen, why would I

ever deceive you? She is indeed ourpany''s chief designer. Diana is actually my little sister. She''s

25 and a graduate of a design academy. All the products in ourpany are designed by her."

As Williams finished speaking, Diana approached with enthusiasm. "Mr. Andersen, I''m Diana. It''s a

    pleasure to meet you."

"Hello, it''s nice to meet you, too," Magnus responded politely, disappointment spreading within him,

    evident in his eyes.

He felt distressed. These designs were so familiar, yet they were not done by his wife. Looking out of

the clear ss window at the blue sky, Magnus felt a sense of destion. “Natalia, where are you?

Why do I feel you are so near, yet so far?”

"Mr. Andersen, you''vee a long way. We''ve prepared a meal for you. We hope you''d do us the

honor." Williams gestured invitingly, rubbing his hands together in anticipation.

Magnus hade a long way to find Natalia. He had no appetite for any work lunch. As he was about

to politely decline, James tugged at him.

James found Diana''s makeup too excessive and her taste in jewelry too extravagant. He found her far

from disying the unique taste of a designer.

James, who was always observant, saw the dissatisfaction in Magnus'' eyes and the rejection on the tip

of his tongue. He knew Magnus was disheartened by the reality presented before him and was about to

excuse himself. Therefore, he stepped in to stop him.

"It''s rude to decline such kindness. Since you''ve gone to such lengths, we won''t decline. Could we find

a room for Mr. Andersen to rest in first? We can enjoy a mealter," James proposed.

"Of course," Williams agreed, turning to Diana. "Diana, you take care of Mr. Andersen''s

amodation. Don''t neglect any detail, understood?"

Delighted by the opportunity to get closer to the handsome Magnus, Diana could barely contain her

excitement. "Sure, I will take care of it."

With those words, Diana enthusiastically reached out to link her arm with Magnus'', "Mr. Andersen, Mr.

    James, please follow me."

Magnus gracefully evaded Diana''s arm and politely said, "Thank you."

Although Magnus avoided her, Diana''s infatuation with him only grew. The mysterious and always

polite Magnus instantly became her idol.

James breathed a sigh of relief. It was always hard to resist a beautiful woman''s affection, and he felt

fortunate that Diana was only interested in Magnus. That was close.

"Mr. Andersen, this way, please," Diana led them to a nearby five-star hotel where she had already

    booked rooms.

"Thank you," Magnus politely nodded, closed the door after James entered, and bid Diana goodbye,

"Ms. Diana, you''ve done a great deal. I''ll take it from here."

Diana gazed at the closed hotel door, her heart fluttering. Magnus was so cool! She was certain he

maintained the distance because they weren''t yet familiar. She needed to create more opportunities to

interact with him, to show him she was a great catch!

With this in mind, she left the hotel in her high heels, nning to reinvent her image.

Once the door was closed, Magnus slumped onto the couch, his face lined with disappointment. James

poured two sses of water and set them on the table, then softly asked, "Magnus, do you believe

    Diana is the real designer?"

"No way! Didn''t you see her all caked in makeup, dripping with gold and silver? She''s a nouveau riche,

not a thoughtful designer. My eyes aren''t blind! Those designs from Stitches Fashion can''t possibly be

her handiwork," Magnus stated with conviction.

James nodded in agreement. "Right, Magnus. I share your opinion. Diana is definitely a fake. But why

won''t Williams introduce you to the real designer?"

"What do you think?" Instead of answering, Magnus offered a knowing smile. Yet his furrowed brows

still bore an unshakeable air of mncholy.

James paused to think, then huffed indignantly, "Seriously? Do they think we''re here to steal their

workers? They''re really underestimating us. Who''d fly all the way to this godforsaken ce if it weren''t

for that magnolia flower possibly linked to Natalia?"

"It could be for that reason, or it might not be. Let''s watch and wait for now. You''ll be the one to draw

out Dianater. We need to find out if those sketches really came from her," Magnus said in a grave

    tone.

James instantly grimaced. "Magnus, I''m not into blonde babes. Can''t I get another task? I''m ready to

put my life on the line if need be!"

Magnus gave James a hearty pat on the shoulder. "To whom much is given, much is tested. Keep up

    the good work!"
