The doctor came out and said a lot, but Olivia did not hear most of it. All she knew was that Kate was
all right this time, but what would happen in the future was unknown.
When she apanied Kate back to the ward, she happened to pass by the lobby and saw the TV.
The TV anchor was reading the news. “The Quinton family’s mistress, Dorothy, was involved in a car
ident in Central at 3 PM. The cause of the ident is still under investigation, and it hasn’t been
ruled out that it was caused by someone. Ms. Jameson has been sent to the hospital…”

Olivia immediately recalled the time Ken had just arrived and linked them together.

Ken nced at it and shook his head, saying, “I wish she were dead, but I didn’t do it. Didn’t you teach
me to calm down?”
“Look me in the eye. Don’t lie to me!”
Ken looked up at her. “I didn’t do it.”
“You’re lying!”
Olivia saw through Ken’s trick at one nce. “It was you. You caused the ident to get revenge for
Kate. Besides that, you’re smart. You didn’t kill Dorothy but only gave her a scare, so you won’t leave
anything for people to use against you.”
She held out her hand once she finished speaking. “If you insist you didn’t do it, give me your phone. I’ll
find out after checking it.”
Not expecting Olivia to catch him so easily, Ken lowered his head, scratched his hair, and said with a
frown, “Kate’s a member of the Lucas family, no matter how much I dislike her. I’ll get my revenge, but
don’t overthink it. I’m still not going to visit her.”
“Ken Lucas!”
“It doesn’t matter if you yell at me, hit me, or call me names. I won’t go unless you drag me there.”
Olivia could not understand what was wrong with Ken. She just found him unreasonable.
“I used to think it’s amazing that you and John can be friends when you two are so different, but I now
realize that birds of a feather flock together! All three of you are psychopaths!”

while. He asked, “Three? Who else is there besides John and me?”
Olivia indignantly rolled her eyes at him. “You two lunatics are bad influences on Zac. He wants to
divorce me.”
‘Lunatics. Three lunatics. None of them are in their right mind.’
Ken paused slightly when he heard that. “What did you say? Divorce? Who wants a divorce? Zac’s
divorcing you? Is he out of his mind?”
He had known Zac for so many years that he knew how much Zac liked Olivia.
Why would he suddenly say he wanted a divorce when he had worked so hard to marry her?

John’s ward.
“Zac, what’s wrong with you? Why do you want a divorce all of a sudden?”
John knew Olivia very well. There was no way Olivia would sign the papers when Zac asked for a
divorce out of the blue. It would make her suspicious instead.
Zac on the other end of the line did not want to answer the question. “Do you think I don’t know you’ve
been trying to steal Olivia since I got married?”
‘What did you say?”
“What did I say? John, don’t brag after gaining an advantage! I know you asked Liv out to dinner and
went to her house to hit on her. I not only know but also saw it with my own eyes.
“Isn’t it true that you tricked her into taking care of you and feeding you when you were sick? Do you
think I’m a fool? I’m crippled, not blind!”
