    —Marguerite rushed toward Nephira and fired a volley of shes that appeared only as afterimages to Takashi''s eyes. Nephira defended herself against the attack by using her Blitzberg as a shield, but she was on the defensive. She retreated slowly as if overwhelmed by Marguerite.


    (Nephira is outmatched even with her weapon!? What a ridiculous bullshit strength!!)


    Overwhelmed by Marguerite''s unimaginable power, Takashi could not contain himself and shouted to the Meru-Kiru sisters.


    "Nephira can''t do it alone! You have to help her!"


    "Right now is impossible. If we try to intervene, we''ll get caught in the middle of it!"

The lighting spear, as its name implied, emitted a golden glow while shing with a thunderous sound, as if d in lightning. The electricity from the lightning spear traveled up her arm and spread throughout Nephira''s body.


    "Wearing an armor of lighting… is it?"


    Marguerite muttered.


    (N-No! Rather than an armor of lighting, that is…!)


    Before anyone knew it, the lightning spear Blitzberg had vanished. Instead, Nephira''s entire body glowed golden, emitting a crackling sh as a lighting. It was as if Nephira herself had be lightning itself, absorbing Blitzberg into her body.


    "Divine de ''<em ss="chakra-text css-0">Wind sh</em>''!"


    Marguerite quickly moved away from Nephira, who would surely electrocute her if she so touched Nephira, and released her sword''s fury. She moved quickly to dodge Nephira and then—


    "''<em ss="chakra-text css-0">Five Fold Wind sh</em>''!"


    Marguerite continued to fire her arch-shaped aura. Thinking that physical attacks would be ineffective against Nephira, who had turned into lightning, she quicklyunched wind shes. What''s more, five in quick session. Takashi swallowed hard. Marguerite, as expected, was a master.


    Perhaps thinking she couldn''t dodge all of the Wind sh attacks, Nephira simply charged straight at Marguerite in a Kamikaze attack. Marguerite smirked.


    One of the wind sh attacks hits Nephira in the torso.


    "Nephira!"


    Takashi shouted unintentionally. However, the wind sh passed through Nephira''s body as if nothing was there. Only the wall behind Nephira was greatly damaged.


    "What the hell!"


    Marguerite roared. Nephira thrusted a lightning-d arm at Marguerite''s neck. Marguerite turned her head, but not in time, and used her sword as a shield.


    Marguerite''s sword shed with Nephira''s arm. The two sides flicker, emitting tremendous sound and light.


    "Gah—"


    When the blinding sh of lightning passed, Takashi saw Marguerite kneeling in front of Nephira. Marguerite''s right arm and the right upper half of her body were charred ck after receiving Nephira''s de-like arm attack. Her right arm, which had turned to charcoal, fell to the ground with a thud, still holding the sword.


    "You… monster…!"


    Marguerite looks up at Nephira in frustration.


    "All, All Right! Nephira won!"


    With neither her sword nor her dominant arm, Marguerite no longer had a chance. Next to Takashi, Meruughed innocently.


    "There is no way Lady Nephira would lose when she is serious—!"


    Kiru bragged about it as if it were her own aplishment.


    "She assimtes with Blitzberg to negate physical and magical attacks for a certain amount of time! Only Lady Nephira, who possesses the attribute of lightning, can perform this invincible technique thatbines offense and defense! That is the secret technique ''Thunder-Lance Charge''!"


    "Thunder-Lance Charge, was it...? That''s the name of Nephira move…"


    "Huh—? Suzuki—. You didn''t know the origin story of our crew—?"


    A cheat technique that gives you invincibility for a certain amount of time. Therefore, it consumed a lot of magical power.     Takashi gritted his teeth, approached Nephira, and grabbed her by the arm that held Marguerite''s neck. Then he silently shook his head.

    Nephira murmured. Soon, Nephira''s arm loosened. After being freed from Nephira, Marguerite copsed and coughed violently.


    When Marguerite finally looked up, Takashi spoke to her.


    "Get out of Leirune."


    Marguerite staggered to her feet with her half-burned body and red at Takashi with bloodshot eyes.


    "You fool that have sided with the demons. Along with the demon race, walk the road to ruin."


    After spatting such curses, she slowly limped to the gate, where her own soldiers were waiting for her.


    "…Wait."


    Takashi said. He red back at Marguerite, who looked back at him.


    "When you return, tell the Sword Master Tartanin... I will save this world."


    Marguerite immediately became enraged.


    "This… Impostor…! God has not the slightest expectations of you…!"


    Marguerite gritted her teeth and held her ground, wanting to move toward Takashi, but the Salvation Crusaders shouted, "Retreat!"


    Marguerite was soon carried away from Syness Castle in the arms of two of her subordinate soldiers.
