The 16 special forces men under the 707th special forces brigade were busy putting on their gear and preparing for deployment after waiting for 10 days.
The long-awaited order to assault the USSC’s vi came in from the special force’smand. Lieutenant Colonel Lee Hyung-won and his 15 men had prepared and gone through multiple simtions with the vi’s blueprint and were full of confidence.
“Are you ready,mander?” Team Leader Lee Ja-sung finished his preparations and asked after entering the special forces men’s quarters.
“Ah! Team Leader Lee. Yes, we are almost done.”
“Lieutenant Colonel Lee, sir! We just received word from the agents watching the USSC building. 12 of the 13 USSC members have arrived at the building and are currently inside.”
“Ah! Is that so? I guess we just have to wait for the final one to show up.”
“Yes, I think we should get going.”
“Yes, let’s go. Team 1, and 2 are you all ready?”
“Yes,mander.”
Team Leader Lee, another NIS agent, and the 16 special forces men all got onto the vans and started to head towards the USSC’s vi 12km away from the NIS safe house.

The USSC’s shabby-looking vi inside the dense forest had double the usual amount of security. Due to the explosion from thest infiltration, additional security guards were ced in the area, and more bodyguards were assigned to each USSC council member.
Manager Park Gi-oong was tasked with surveying the area with Assistant Manager Shin Bo-ra. It might have been due to his joke about him being lonely from thest stake-out. Manager Park Gi-oong felt awkward around Assistant Manager Shin, but he didn’t show it and continued to conduct his mission faithfully.
“Manager Park! Team Leader Lee and the special forces men will arrive in 10 minutes,” Assistant Manager Shin Bo-ra spoke while typing away at theptop behind Manager Park Gi-oong.
“Okay.”
“Sir, but there’s still one member absent. I wonder if the mission will be canceled because of that.”
“Hmm, yeah. We’re still missing one person. ording to our intel, they are scheduled to all gather by 22:00...”
Manager Park Gi-oong checked his watch and started to worry about the possibility of the mission being canceled. He was sick of dealing with the awkwardness with Assistant Manager Shin, the mosquitoes, and bugs. All he wanted was to destroy the USSC’s building and return to Corea.
Soon strange shadows appeared behind him. It was Team Leader Lee Ja-sung and the special forces men from the 707th special forces brigade.
“Hey, great work! Has all of our targets arrived?” Team Leader Lee Ja-sung checked the interior of the USSC’s vi with the VR-M equipment and asked Manager Park.
“No. There’s still one missing, sir!”
“What? It’s already 9:50. What should we do?”
When one of the USSC’s members did not arrive ording to n, Team Leader Lee Ja-sung asked Lieutenant Colonel Lee Won-hyung.
“Lieutenant Colonel Lee, sir! Shouldn’t we contact the special forcesmand? I think we need to confirm with them about assaulting the building with one of the targets missing.”
“Yes, I agree. One moment please.”
Lieutenant Colonel Lee Won-hyung walked up to hismunications operator and gave an order. He used the broad-ranged radio to contact the special forcesmand.
Lieutenant Colonel Lee Won-hyung finished speaking on the radio and turned to Team Leader Lee Ja-sung, “They told us to continue as nned.”
“Yes, then why don’t we start at 2200 as nned?”
The special forces men started to quietly get into position after Team Leader Lee Ja-sung and Lieutenant Colonel Lee Won-hyung finished their discussion. They slowly moved towards the building while avoiding the motion sensors installed in the outer area of the building.

February 26th, 2021, 11:00 (U.S.T. 25th 22:00)

The men in ck clothes and masks were all sitting at a round table preparing to start the meeting as usual. However, President Trump, who called for the meeting, and Sphinx was absent.
“How is it that the president who organized the meeting and Sphinx are absent at a time like this?” The strictest member of the USSC, Columbus mmed the table.
“We are at war, so they might bete due to security issues. Let’s wait a bit longer,” Chairman Victoria calmed Columbus and the room down.
A few minutester, an explosion rang out and everyone who was waiting for President Trump and Sphinx panicked.
Boom! Bang~ Boom!
There hadn’t been additional strikes to America by the Corean military for two days. So, the explosion had caused the USSC council members to jump out of their seats. The masks covered their faces but it was clear that they were panicking.
“Wha-what was that?” One of the members shouted.
The chief of security for the USSC kicked open the door and shouted, “It’s an ambush. Everyone, evacuate to the underground bunker.”
“Who would dare attack here?” Chairman Victoria was a woman, but unlike the other USSC men who were cowering in fear, she calmly asked a question to assess the situation.
“Madam chairman! Now is not the time. You must evacuate. The outer security is being taken down by the enemy. They will arrive at the building soon.”
Outside the vi, the 4 NIS agents and 16 707th special forces men activated their TCS (Transparent Cloaking System) and sneaked up to the vi’s entrance. After turning off their cloaking system, theymenced the attack. The 200 security guards in charge of guarding the building’s perimeter were unable to retaliate against the enemy that appeared out of nowhere and ended up falling to the ground.
The NIS agents and the special forces men used their TCS system to vanish and reappear while firing theirser guns and easily subdued the enemy 10 times their numbers.
Vrooo~ Vroooo~ Tatatatatat~
A heavy gun appeared from the 5th story roof, and it started to aim towards the special forces’ men headed towards the vi. The tracer rounds made the 12.7mm heavy machine gun seem like it was spraying light beams as it swept across the ground. The special forces men reactivated their TCS devices and took cover.
“Manager Park! We are going to enter the vi. Break down the front door!” Team Leader Lee Ja-sung hid behind a fountain at the front door to avoid the machine gun’s rounds and ordered Manager Park.
“Yes, sir.”
A 30mm smart grenade flew towards the USSC’s vi door and exploded. The power of the grenade was strong despite it being only a 30mm round, and it blew off the door and the outer wall.
“Team A, enter the building now.”
“This is themander. Team 1, take out the damn heavy gunners at the roof and Team 2 will team up with the NIS’ Team A to infiltrate the building to take out the enemies.”
Bang bang bang! Babababa bang!
Numerous bullets flew out from the blooming smoke to prevent the Corean agents and soldiers from entering. However, they were no match against the special forces equipped with thetest gear. Two of the special forces’ men leaned on the wall. They pulled out shbangs from their front pouch and tossed it at the enemy’s location.
Boom~ Bang!
The shbangs rolled onto the floor and exploded after shooting up into the air. A giant sh of light lit up the first-floor lobby and disappeared. The USSC security forces equipped with infrared sunsses all grasped their eyes and rolled on the floor while screaming in pain.
Pew pew pew pew~ Pew pew pew pew~
Team Leader Lee Ja-sung and the special forces men used this chance to enter the lobby and take out the security guards who were rolling on the floor.
“The 1st-floor lobby has been taken!”
“Team A, head to the basement.”
“Team 1, move to the second floor and take out the enemy. Team 2, what’s your situation?”
“This is Captain Oh Kyung-jin. We have to just take down the enemy’s heavy guns on the roof, sir.”
“Great! Take them out and help with mopping up the enemies inside the building.”
“Yes, sir.”
Team leader Lee Ja-sung and Lieutenant Colonel Lee Won-hyung gave out the orders and split in all directions to find the USSC’s members.
Team A found out that the USSC’s council members would evacuate to the underground bunker thanks to Manager Park Gi-oong’s camera which was installed during hisst infiltration. They headed down to the basement to meet them.
A security guard waiting at the other side of the hallway started to fire his M4A1 assault rifle. The bullets started to hit the ceiling and walls.
Bang bang! Bang bang!
“You son of a bitch!” Manager Park Gi-oong shouted and pulled the trigger on his CS1ser rifle after jumping over the stairway.
Pew pew pew pew pew~ Pew pew pew pew pew~
Theser beams hit the security guard and tore him into bits.
Argh~
The man fell with multiple holes in his body, screaming in pain. Manager Park safelynded on the ground and checked the other side of the hallway with his shield sses while leaning on the wall for cover.
There were multiple doors along the hallway, and he saw there were dummies holding firearms inside each room. Manager Park radioed the agents in Team A.
“Great work! Manager Park!” Team Leader Lee Ja-sung walked behind Manager Park and tapped him on the shoulder. Then, he pointed to the only high-powered CS2ser rifle that Chief Oh Jin-suk was holding.
“Chief Oh! Hand me the CS2 rifle for a second!”
“Yes, sir.”
Team Leader Lee set theser rifle’s power output to the maximum and ced it on his shoulder. He changed his shield sses to the inverter mode to look at all the security guards hiding behind the wall and lined them up to aim.
Pew~
The CS4 rifle emitted a sound 2-3 times louder than usual, and a high-powerser beam flew across the hallway. It pierced through the four men hiding in a line behind the wall and hit them at the chest or shoulder. Theser beam was so powerful that it flew out of the building. Team Leader Lee had taken out four men with a single shot.
“Nice! Let’s move!”
The men started to move along the hallway with Manager Park Gi-oong at the lead. There was an entrance at the end of the hallway’s corner. They checked inside the door with their shield sses, but no signs of life were found. Manager Park Gi-oong kicked down the door. Inside the room, there was arge round steel door.
“Whoa~ what’s this?
The silver steel-ted door seemed to be very sturdy. It resembled a bank’s safe and the men started to exim after looking at it.
“Maybe our targets fled through here?”
Manager Park Gi-oong kicked the door with his foot and checked inside the room. The door seemed to be thicker than expected and the inverter mode could not see through it.
“Wow! Team Leader Lee, sir! This door is really thick. The inverter mode can’t look through it, sir.”
“Mine too! Hey, the thing. Use the VR-M equipment on it!”
“Hey! Chief Oh, bring it out!”
“Yes, sir.”
Chief Oh pulled out the VR-M equipment from his backpack and handed it to Manager Park.
Manager Park used therge VR-M device to look through therge steel door. There was a long hallway leading away from the door and an elevator door was at its end. When he increased the machine’s output, he saw the elevator leading dozens of meters down from the surface. The VR-M had reached its limit and couldn’t see any further.
“Sir, there seems to be an underground bunker and a pathway leading to it. There’s an elevator 50m ahead.”
“Hmm, I see! Let’s report it to our superiors and wait!”
“Yes, if we want to take down this door, I think we need that photon cannon on the White Tiger tanks or something simr, sir,” Chief Oh Jin-suk said while touching the steel door.
