The 38th fighter wing’s ck Moon Phoenix flight wing with 4 jets and the Rainbow ck Phoenix flight wing with 4 bombers all were headed to the Oita prefecture’s Tsuiki base. The Tsuiki base was where the western air force’s 8th fighter wing was stationed, and it had 2 flight battalions. The 6th flight battalion was operating thetest 24 F-22 raptor jets instead of their standard F-4EJ jets while the 304th battalion was operating 24 F-15J fighter jets.
The two mixed phoenix and ck phoenix flight wings deactivated their super cruise modes and maintained a steady speed of Mach 1. Luckily, the RWR (Radar Warning Receiver) did not go off. This meant that they were not detected by Japan’s early warning radar system or the terrestrial radars. Their high altitude had fooled Japan’s different types of radarspletely. A momentter, the two flight wings had entered the bombing phase, leaving 25km from their targeted area, the Tsuiki base.
In a finger-tip formation, the four phoenix jets began to escort the rainbow bomber flight wing. The two jets at the right finger took the lead, while the two jets at the left finger moved to the rear.
Major Choi Young-Ho, the flight wingmander of the rainbow flight wing spoke to Major Jeon Chang-Bin, call sign Rainbow 1, in a joking tone.
“ck Moon 1, distance from the south point at 25, Rainbow 1, Tiger 1 targeting check! Check!”

-ck Moon 1, contact Rainbow 1, don’t waste the expensive bombs, and make sure to have them hit the target. Over!

Major Jeon Chang-Bin, call sign Rainbow 1 who had been exchanging jokes despite being tasked with an important mission, gave the order to drop the bombs to his flight wing.
Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom!
The four ck phoenix bomber’s internal weapons pairings opened and arge K-PAB sma cluster bomb and 14 K-PSB sma cluster rounds separated from the pairings and fell towards the ground. The two types of bombs freely fell towards the surface at frightening speeds. Then the self-thrusters on the missiles operated, the gravitational force and the force from the thrusters added to reach Mach 10 speed, then each missile reached the target destination.
Arge explosion from the K-PAB sma cluster bomb urred at the Tsuiki base only after 10 seconds. The explosion matched the power of a small 5-kilotonne nuclear bomb. It created arge mushroom cloud and evaporated all the buildings within a 500m radius. The other areas had their terrain split and shook as if an earthquake was taking ce. It was as if an 8th-degree earthquake had hit the Tsuiki base. Also, from the skies, 14 sma cluster bombs exploded at once and sprayed steel rain down on a 5km area.
The hundreds of cluster rounds destroyed the defensive igloos that protected the buildings and fighter jets. The damage was so severe that the runway was incapable of having any more nes take off ornd.
Boom! Bang! Boooom! Boom! Bang!
The continued explosions had caused the surrounding viges, homes, and shops near the Tsuiki base to shake. Some of the older homes copsed from the shockwaves. The aerial raid sirens of the Tsuiki base rang out only after Corea’s airstrikes had been sessfully dealt.
Wee-woo. Wee-woo~
However, the attack was over. It was toote. As the flight wing was preparing to move towards their second target, the ck moon flight wing’s Major Choi Young-Ho alerted them of the enemy nes approaching.

The Japanese air force was concerned about additional aerial strikes after being hit by Corea’s powerful missile attacks. They had been ordered to be heavily armed and shoot down any nes that entered themercial airspace. Therefore, the 8th fighter wing had hidden some of their F-22 raptor jets at the Kitakyushu airport, along with F-15J/DJ fighter jets. When the rainbow flight wing was detected by the radar for a few moments when they dropped their bombs, the flight wings at the Kitakyushu air force deployed 16 heavily armed F-22 jets to retaliate.
The rainbow flight wing banked left, and moved towards its second target, while the ck moon flight wing turned 30 degrees left and entered into a dog fight with the 16 F-22 raptor jets.
Since the distance between the two jets was so close, and the F-22 raptor jets had the powerful AN/APG-77 radars, the ck moon flight wing was urately detected by the Japanese jets.
Bee beep! Bee beep! Bee beep! Bee beep!
Soon enough, the ck moon flight wing’s RWR rms began to ring. Major Choi Young-Ho urgently gave the order to his flight wing.
-Flight wing, all music on. 2 rounds of S-AAM-50 Magpie vipers (infrared short-ranged air-to-air missiles) on standby, fire!

Eight blue beams of light flew off from the phoenix jets and moved towards the F-22 jets. The F-22 jets retaliated with their eight AIM-9X super sidewinder missiles that had a range of 26km with a speed of Mach 2.7.
The S-AAM-50 Magpie viper missiles were superior in speed, and they vaporized the eight F-22 raptor jets moving in the fingertip position. Since they were at such a close distance, the F-22 jets were unable to make evasive maneuvers and crashed after bursting into mes. The surviving jets split into two flight wings after seeing theirrades crashing to the surface and began to make evasive maneuvers.
The eight AIM-9X super sidewinder missiles had detected the heating from the phoenix jets and still flew towards their targets.

The four jets under the ck moon flight wing turned on its afterburners to raise its velocity to Mach 8, and burst forward at 3 times the speed of a bullet. The AIM-9X sidewinder missiles moved around frantically after the heat signature of their targets disappeared and then blew up.
The four jets under the ck moon flight wing flew past the F-22 jet’s formation. Then they turned off the afterburners to reduce their velocity, performed the stall turn maneuver* then split into two groups to form and tail the F-22 flight wing.
*The stall turn maneuver: while flying parallel, the jets turn by 45 degrees and reduce speed. At the peak of the loop, the jets roll and return to parallel flight.
The F-22 jets that had now seen the enemy jets fly past them at unbelievable speed, and now seen the enemy at their tail were bbergasted. The F-22 jets all began to go under JINK maneuvers* to get the enemy jets off their tail. However, since they were locked on by the phoenix jets, they were unable to leave the line of fire.
*JINK maneuver: a maneuver to fool the enemy’s targeting system by moving the ne in an irregr pattern, and also to evade the enemy jet’s gunfire.
Major Choi Young-Ho felt it was overkill to use the S-AAM-200 rattlesnake (mid-range air-to-air missiles) but he gave the order to attack. Soon the 4 phoenix jets tailing the enemy emitted blue mes and the rattlesnake missiles all flew towards the target. The four remaining F-22 jets blew up.
Woosh~ Woosh~ Woosh~ Woosh~
Boom~ Boom~ Boom~
The four F-22 jets all blew up in the air. The remaining two F-22 jets all made a break turn and faced the phoenix jets that were tailing them. They locked on andunched their AIM-9L sidewinder missiles.
The F-22 jet’s maneuverability was just as excellent as the simtions from the 99th flight training wing. Or it could have been the superior capabilities of the Japanese pilots, but seeing the jets move smoothly reminded Major Choi Young-Ho of his training days and made him smile. He then pressed the button of the 12mmser Vulcan guns.

The white light beams traveled at the speed of light to strike down the AIM-9L sidewinder missiles. He left behind the shrapneling from the explosion and pulled the trigger again towards the F-22 jets this time.

Theser beams had hit past the F-22 raptor’s canopy and the rear to form a straight line. The Japanese pilot aboard the canopy died after spitting out arge amount of blood. The cockpit had turned into a sea of blood. The F-22 raptor that had lost its pilot spewed ck mes and began to fall down while tumbling in the air, and after a while, it exploded.
“Those bastards! I am the top gun in the Corean air force. Don’t mess with me!”
Major Choi Young-Ho, who shouted while watching the crashing F-22 raptor, turned his gaze and red at the remaining F-22 jet.
Meanwhile, the rainbow flight wing arrived at the automobile manufacturingplex at Fukuoka that had factories from Nissan automotive, and many other automobilepanies. They released all of their remaining C-PAB sma cluster bombs and C-PSB cluster rounds without any hesitation.

Therge industrialplexes all copsed under the power of the explosives. Many of the materials from the factories flew away from the st or melted from the heat. The Fukuoka industrialplex had turned into a living hell, and mes dozens of meters high made it resemble the surface of the sun under a sma storm. The Fukuoka industrialplex, which was considered one of thergest in Kyushu, was now disappearing into history.
Meanwhile, at the ck moon flight wing, the F-22 raptor jets which previously had superiority in numbers, had the situation flipped on them. The three surviving F-22 raptor jets were doing everything in their power to lose the CF-21P phoenix jets from their tail.
When the 8th fighter wing’smand headquarters under the western air force was hit, Major General Kondo Youji had ordered the hidden 16 F-22 raptor jets under the 301st battalion to be deployed. He assumed that 16 5th generation F-22 stealth fighter jets would be more than enough to handle the eight Corean fighter jets. However, the resultsing in from hismand center was that 13 of the deployed F-22 jets were struck down by not eight enemy jets but four, and the remaining three would be struck down at any moment.
Major General Kondo Youji gave the order to deploy eight additional F-22 raptor jets under the 6th battalion, and 16 F-15J jets under the 304th battalion. Also, he requested the E-2C early warning system nes to be deployed from the sentry forces under the air forcemand headquarters.
A single F-22 raptor jet that had turned into a ball of mes split into two and began to fall towards the ground. There was now one F-22 jet remaining.

The RWR rm rang across every jet under the ck moon flight wing. The ck moon flight wing was too busy fighting against the enemy that it didn’t have time to check the radars. The enemy jets had them locked on as soon as they left Kitakyushu airport.

Major Choi Young-Ho’s wingman, Captain Oh Gil-Sung, who had checked the radar first, alerted the entire flight wing through the radio.
Then 24 rounds of AIM-120 AAMRAM missiles in a fire and pocket formation flew towards them. Six missiles had been allotted for each fighter jet. It seems that the Japanese pilots had spared no missiles since they were enraged that the F-22 raptor jets were struck down.
For an instant, Major Choi Young-Ho’s head became cloudy with thoughts.
“They fired 6 missiles for each ne, and there was no way for them to evade or blow up the AIM-120 AAMRAM missile with a speed of Mach 4 by using chaffs or res. There’s only one way and speed they needed to be to avoid them.”
Major Choi thought.
Major Choi Young-Ho made his conclusion and gave the order through themunication line.
“ck Moon 1, contact all flight wing members! All music on! Afterburners on! Every jet is to raise altitudes at maximum angle!”

The four ck moon jets all raised their nozzles towards the sky and turned on their afterburners. The jets had reached 30km in altitude with their velocity. They had reached the altitude limit. However, the four jets did not stop and kept rising.
The AIM-120 AAMRAM missiles all flew in an L shape and shot up to the sky to follow the phoenix jets.
