When I thought about Kaleb in the past. I didn''t think about the boy sitting beside me now.

With his gentle smile, his warm gaze and God the way he stared at me as if I was the only light in
his world, this person waspletely different than the past version I always thought he would be.
He was my Kaleb.
And I wished I had seen this side of him sooner.
" You keep staring at me, miss unimpressed." He teased, stealing a nce at me from the corner of
his eye and popping a grape in his mouth. One of his leg is propped up and he''s leaning one of his
arm on his knee.
The setting sun casted a golden hue over him, making me hold my breath at how stunning he
looked right now. And when his eyes flick to me and I saw the radiant blue turned now a light color
sea green and I melted.
He wore a teasing grin, biting into the grape in a sexy way. Maybe he didn''t mean for it to be sexy
but it came out that way.
I peered at him under myshes, slowly biting into my bottom lip as butterflies fly in my stomach. "

Kaleb''s grin widened, making my heart skip as he leaned in closer, capturing my gaze with his sea-
green eyes. "Oh by all means, stare away Bailey. I could get used to being stared at by you."
He leaned on his forearm, staring at me with a teasing grin as he swallowed the grape.
I rolled my eyes, leaning back on my elbows, crossing my legs and staring at the ocean that
glistened. " Well Mr. Impressive, you''ve set the bar high today. It''s not every day someone can find a
guy to woo her with a date on the beach."
I return my gaze to his and caught sight of the pink flush on his neck, quickly crawling up to settle
on his cheeks. I cracked a smile.
Despite being clearly flushed, Kaleb being Kaleb feigned a look of surprise and pointed at himself.
"Me? Set the bar high? I am just a humble guy trying to impress his very unimpressed girlfriend."

It sounded so gooding out of his mouth.
I scoffed, rolling my eyes yfully. "Humble and Kaleb doesn''t quite go together."
His eyes sparkled with a yful glint and his grin was so wide and infectious, I couldn''t help but grin
right back. " Take that back. I am a very humble guy."
I wrinkled my nose, feigning a look of scoff. " You''re far from humble Mr. Impressive."
Kaleb groaned and was so quick that I didn''t realize he had moved and was now on top of me until
my back hit the cloth under me and I am staring up into his eyes.
The air wooshes out of my lungs instantly.
His eyes flicker down to my lips, the air around us buzzing as the crash of waves surround us. He''s
pressing to me but made sure to not squish me with his weight. My heart skipped at the heat of his
look.
" Take that back Bailey." he whispered, eyes returning to mine to shoot me a longing stare. I
shivered, his hot breath fanning against my lips and I part them to let out a faint gasp.
I shook my head, swallowing and licked across my bottom lip. " Make me."
He smiled, leaning even closer until our lips brush. In this second a rage of tingles run freely in my
body and set me on fire. " Hmmm I think I can do that." He tilted his head, and his knee nudge my

had no choice but to surrender.

Kaleb tilted his head, his eyes shinning as he hummed. " I don''t know. It doesn''t sound convincing
enough."

I shook my head only to squeal louder when he went back to tickle me. " Okay okay!" I gasped. " My

He looked down at me, his eyes lighting up. "Hmm much better." he whispered and stopped his

My chest is moving up and down as I try to catch my breath. He still has my hands locked above my
head and is staring down at me fondly.

I hummed, unable to form words at the moment.

I feigned innocence and he smiled. "And you know it turns me on."

My heart hammered in my chest as I bit my lip and shook my head. " As long as you don''t
