    “You’re probably right,” Aiden sat down and pulled out his textbook, “Let’s get back to studying! No


    point in worrying about stuff we can’t control.”


    All they could do was help their parents by making sure Alex did well in school.


    At the mention of studying, Alex immediately looked gloomy.


    “Can we take a break today? I’m kinda tired.”

    Alex’s smile instantly disappeared, he denied it vehemently, “Are you kidding me? I was just helping


    her out because I’m nice! She’s so not my type, if anyone has a crush, it’s her on me!”


    Aiden was speechless, “I saw you going over to talk to her.”


    “No way!”


    “In that case, to avoid any distractions, how about I ask the teacher to have you sit next to me


    tomorrow?” Aiden suggested mischievously.


    Alex was quick to reject the idea, “No way! I’m with you all the time, if I’m with you at school too, I’ll go


    crazy from your nagging! I’m fine with the girl! Oh, weren’t you supposed to help me with my


    homework? Let’s get started! I can’t wait!”


    This was ra’s first time being a site supervisor, everything was so new and intriguing.


    Emmett couldn’t help but worry, so he canceled a couple of meetings to apany her.


    “I told you, I’m fine, but you just won’t listen,” ra’s hand was held tightly by Emmett, even on an


    uneven path, she didn’t have to worry about falling.


    “How can I not worry? Look at this construction site, it’s full of hazards,” Emmett frowned, putting a


    hard hat on ra, “As a designer, you don’t really need to be here! Actual construction is someone


    else’s job.”


    “I want to learn as much as I can! If possible, I want to hear the workers’ opinions. Maybe in my next


    design, I can incorporate what they think is good or simplify things,” ra smiled, “If I only know how to


    direct from the office, I may note up with good designs. I think it’s better to consider the opinions of


    the masses.”


    Emmett sighed, “You really are dedicated.”


    “Don’t worry! I won’t neglect our kids!”


    “What about their dad?”


    ra went silent, her face flushing slightly.
