    “That’s not fair!” Sophia retorted, “No matter what, that woman is the mother of those two kids! If she

    Patrick took a sip of water, stood up, and said, “Ah, forget it! I can’t deal with you women’s issues! I just


    wish we could have some peace and quiet at home, with no more drama.”


    Sophia pouted, “I’m just thinking about the kids! I’ve been thinking about it these days, so I can’t sleep


    at night!”


    “You’re not getting any younger, why not just kick back and enjoy your twilight years? Emmett is doing


    a great job running thepany, and both grandkids are healthy and happy, I really don’t get why


    you’re worried,” Patrick sighed deeply, “I’m going fishing with some friends, you figure it out.”


    He was not cut out for dealing with suchplex issues. Under Emmett’s push, the review results

    “You’re this happy just for getting approved? If the construction ispleted, won’t you lose sleep?”


    “Absolutely!” ra squinted her eyes and smiled, “I want to watch it being built brick by brick! Can I go


    to the site?”


    Emmett frowned upon hearing this, “The site is dangerous, it’s not for you! After work, I can drive you


    there to check the progress.”


    “But I want more than just checking progress! I think I should participate in person, so I can know


    where my shorings are in my next design.”


    “I see you care more about your design than me!”


    ra paused, thenughed, “Are you being jealous?”


    “Why can’t I feel unbnced? I’m your husband, a man! You focus all your attention on work and


    ignore me.” Emmett was a bit upset, when did he be so insignificant?


    “I didn’t ignore you! Without you, how could I have a chance to prove myself?”


    Emmett nodded, “That’s more like it!”


    “Mr. Melendez, I really owe you one!” ra even went over to give him a shoulder rub.


    Emmett raised an eyebrow, “Just a verbal thank-you?”


    “How about I buy you a shirt as a gift?”


    “Can you afford it?”


    “Although I can’t afford an expensive one, I can buy a cheap one.”


    Emmett looked at her, “You want me to wear cheap clothes?”


    “Alright, what do you want as a reward?”


    “Today, three times.”


    ra paused before understanding what he meant. Her cheeks immediately turned red, “You! How can


    you talk about this during the daytime!”


    “Aren’t we discussing my reward? What’s wrong with me making a request?” Emmett didn’t feel


    ufortable at all.


    “No way, twice at most!”


    She still has to work tomorrow!
