    “You go see your mom first. I have to take a call.”

    Alex scampered off to find his mom, while Ello, holding his phone, stepped out of the game room to


    answer it.

    “I heard from the bodyguard, Rob, that woman is here?”

    I’m grown, I know what I’m doing.”
