    Sophia patted his head, smiling, “Then I’ll talk to your dad about it! Also… there’s something else I

    Aiden felt uneasy seeing his granny looking so serious.

    “It seems your new mom has a son too! You’ll meet him sooner orter. Can you promise to get along


    with your new brother?”

    Sophia shook her head, “Not yet! But I’m sure I will at some point. We’re bound to cross paths.”

    “Good boy! I knew my Aiden is the sweetest, most understanding child!”


    Aiden beamed, “Granny, I’ll be a kid with a mom too from now on!”


    “Yes, you will! You’ll have a mom, and Alex will too.” Sophia sighed inwardly after saying this.


    She felt guilty towards this grandson!


    If she hadn’t insisted on having a child for the Melendez family first back then, Aiden wouldn’t have


    such a sad story. He had never even met his biological mother! It’s just too cruel for a child.


    That night, ra barely slept a wink.


    She couldn’t fall asleep, so she covertly texted Alex and Aiden from under her nket.


    Alex didn’t respond, he must be out having fun with Elio! Aiden texted back after a while.
