    Back in the living room, ra felt a bit guilty and hid behind Emmett

    “Try harder! I need to know as soon as possible, Emmett urged, emphasizing the importance of the


    matter.


    “Alright,” ra replied, determined to put in more effort.


    Observing her tense and uneasy demeanor, Emmett became aware of her difort. “What’s wrong?


    Are you feeling unwell? Did my parents say something to you. privately?


    ra hastily shook her head. “No! Your parents have been very kind to me. They treat me well”


    “Then why the troubled expression?” Emmett pressed for an answer.


    “Maybe I got up too early today and I’ve been nervous all day, so I’m a bit tired now.” ra rubbed her


    forehead, “I want to go home and rest early today, so it doesn’t affect


    work tomorrow.”
