The car-sized grey wolf died with one shot .
It is noon at the first day in the raid of the windy plains .
After Mike awakened he tried to find his job in this raid so he searched the support division leader and tried to ask what he can do .
Finding the support leader wasn''t as difficult as he thought , however Mike couldn''t believe how useless the leader is .
Not that he would be a better leader , however the image from an middle aged man with beard crumbled . Suprisingly the leader is a young girl , to be precise Elizabeth Zara from the house Zara , with a support skill called summon .
Although she is the leader in-name Mike didn''t asked her what to do , instead he asked a sub-leader called Thomas .
Why didn''t he asked the leader ? The reason is simple , Elizabeth is from a powerful family of supporters so it wouldn''t be "okay" for him to ask her . Besides it is a 1000 man raid and being a leader is a quite powerful position , if he offends her without even knowing it then he is doomed .
How ? Well she just have to tell her circle about Mike and then he won''t be able to participate in any grand raids anymore .
At least Thomas fit the description of a perfect sub-leader . Middle aged , kindly and a beard .
"So what should i do Thomas ?" asked Mike .
"Hahaha , just lean back and enjoy the show of getting free loot ." laughed Thomans while patting Mike on the shoulders while adding : "If you really want to help , then just don''t be a nuisance ."
The last sentence wasn''t really an insult for Mike , since looked how the ranged fighter took out guns or wands and killed the monster with ease . Trying to fight as a melee would only annoy them .
"Well , don''t take my sentencen as an insult . You can''t help us , however since you are melee and not from a rich house my advice to you is it to loot the carcass of the monsters . I believe you can sell those things to the crafting guild . After all they can''t go fighting ." said Thomas trying to cheer up Mike .
"Wait , why can''t the crafting guild go fighting ?" questioned Mike in a surprised voice , why didn''t he heard anything about them in school ?
"Well , even though the general dividing line between people are ranged and melee i believe you can imagine that some skills are not suited for fighting . For example i know one whose skill is [Sharpen] , though he can use it to sharpen his blade in fighting he opened a shop in which he make blunt weapon razor sharp . Same with ranged skill . So the truth is only a handful of skills are suited to battle , the rest could only be used for battle though it won''t be as strong ." explained Thomas .
"Well , my skill is [Hawk Eyes] . Normally i should be a scout or something , however i use a sniper rifle to deal damage ." added Thomans while taking out a sniper rife .
Thanking and bidding goodbye to Thomas Mike walked towards the silent battefield . The raid , consisting out of 1000 man advanced quite fast . Once the wolfs were killed on the plain , some people would summon a few helpers to carry some defence fences to the next line .
The corpses of the monsters , mostly monsters like buffalos , rabbits or wolfs are scattered on the ground .
Running around Mike collected one corpse after another , trying to fill his inventory .
It wasn''t easy to follow the group , after all they advanced in a fast pace . So Mike could only wheep over the corpses he couldn''t collect .
He even has to chase the camp once . What fascinated him is the fact that each member except a few got a mount , yes a mount . If everybody would ride ordinary mounts nothing would surprise Mike , however they rid on snails , fire horses , large birdys , some even rid on big lions .
In the end Mike could only ditch the corpses and chase them like a madman , some people who like him had no mounts could only run with them sweating on the whole body .
To summarize the two weeks he spend in the dungeon it would be run , try to throw corpses into his inventory and wipe his sweat away before eating and sleeping .
The raid was in no way different than a training camp . However Mike didn''t regret the fact of joining the raid , though he imagined the raid a little bit different .
After all one would imagine a team slowly advancing , while the mages would fire their fireballs or ice lances towards the monster and thus killing it . However Mike experienced what the real raiding appeared to be in the modern age , mounting a mount and killing everything on its way without even looting the corpses .
After two weeks the raid neared its end , the group killed the wolf boss as well as the mini bosses and thus the whole group said goodbye to each other .
Since Mike didn''t talked to many people in the raid besides Thomas he only said a short goodybe while looking at his status which rose up because of the training .

Sighing Mike looked at the stats , great sh*t ! Now he has to sell it and try to buy good equipment , can''t just a set for melee appear for him ? Why does it have to be a set for range ?
It''s not that Mike isn''t happy , however he knew that as long as the necklace is quite common then he will be doomed . After all if the offer is bigger than the demand , the price will be low .
Sitting on a bench he send a thanking message to BunBunnyBun for inviting him to the raid as well as Thomas for giving him advices on how to earn money by collecting the corpses .
After that he searched through Gaia for the set of Windy plains which seemed to be quite the hot topic for ranged fighters and quite the cold for melee fighters .
He found the page quite fast since the Windy Plain set is deemed as the strongest beginner set for ranged fighters .

@Obogod , on your status will only appear your major points for example a warrior would have str , maybe an archer or a monk would have it too . On the opposite a warrior won''t have the stats INT or WIS .

Reading through the post underneath Mikes face changed from disappointment to happiness and from happiness to euphoria .
He has the body stat and it is even over 100 , that means he is allowed to wear it without penalty ! That is so good for him . Now he only has to sell this Wolf Necklace for a whole melee set .

(AN: It sounds a little bit too much of plot armor , however it is modern time and if an auction isn''t implemented yet , then it would be quite akward for the alliance who uses Gaia as their official forum . Besides i believe that many of you now ask why the clothes have such "OP" buffs and why normal clothes don''t have one . To say it directly it is something called enhancement , so even a shield can have the enhancement +50 Agility . However it will still have the "basic" use of a shield . In Mmorpgs there are always these bikini armors for girls right ? Their basic defense is pretty much sh*t , however the enhancement is the good sh*t which gives the defense . Unterstand ? There is the basic defense + enhancement . )
Searching for other Wolf necklaces which got auctioned in the past , he looked at the price with an astonished gap .
They sold for millions of points ? How is that even possible ? One traded even one necklace for 10 rare skill books !
Since it is impossible to put something into the marked which one doesn''t own Mike took out the necklace and stored it into the auction house .
Naturally fighter feared that their expensive item would get stolen , thus the state signed a "protective" contract with every user .
Setting the price into "Only Exchange for stuff" Mike waited for the first customers to appear .

Nothing to wonder , if the persons wants to exchange equipment or skill book then they as the granddaughter of the familys heir would have a chance to aqquire the rare necklace .

An excited feeling surged through him , doesn''t that mean he solve his lodging problem and get some equipment ? Heck some even offered a house , some skill books and an equipment set .
However they tend to offer skill books than houses and only then equipment . Does that mean that equipment is deemed as high ? Or the opposite and they believe that he , Mike doesn''t need any equipment any longer ?

Putting Gaia away Mike decided to wait for a while , after all he didn''t believed that the necklace value would disappear overnight . Instead , he hoped that somebody would offer all that he needed , the melee wolf set as well as a lodging .
Naturally more would be better .
After eating steak and potatoes for 10 points he took his sleeping bag and hoped for the day he would be able to have his own lodging . Renting one is quite expensive .
