A lonely wind softly blew throughthe airas the trees and animals shuffled in the background. The night sky shone brightly, and in accordancewith the moon''s blue, illuminating a nearbystream.


    Ern sat down next to the stream, an expectant glow in his eyes. The ruffling of papers was lightly heard, mostly covered by the nature around him.


    The sound of frogs croaking filled the air, and the quiet wind, together with the sky''s shine, brought attention to the blackcat prowling behind a tree, cautioned, having caught its nightly meal. Somewhere an Owl hooed,and once again the landwent quiet.


    A few moments later, a strong gust of wind snatched the piece of parchment out of his hand.

    The organic smell of the earth dissipatedinto the sky, accepting the rain.


    The boy stood up, with all his energy, surprising the great beings of the sky, and speeding the pitter-patter of the rain. Steeling himself, hesloshed through the mud and grime of the earth,taking heavy but steady steps forward.


    His face grimaced... "I''ll show them!"


    The words were swept bynature''s wind tothe ears of anyone who was listening...
