    Chapter 1364

    The evening lights were lit.

The light of every house in themunity was on.

After dinner, Anthea apanied Erik to y Lego. Boba felt it very novel and joined them with its

tail wagging. It walked around and asionally upset a few pieces of building blocks when it turned

    around.

Boba repeated it again and again, and Anthea and Erik keptughing.

Anthea felt that there was something amiss about the atmospherepared to usual. In other

words, there was something wrong with Adam.

Ever since she got home, she had felt that something was amiss.

For example, Anthea felt that Adam was staring at her from behind at this moment. It was not like

the previous feeling that made her hair stand on end, but there was an indescribable feeling.

When she looked up, Adam would turn his gaze to the TV.

Anthea frowned and said, ''Adam, what''s wrong with you?"

    "I''m fine," Adam said.

Anthea shrugged and continued to y Lego.

When she looked up again, Adam quietly looked at her again. Their eyes happened to meet.

    There must be something wrong!

Anthea looked at his confusedly. "Honey?"

Adam stretched out his arms and touched her cheek. He wanted to say something but stopped on

second thought. "Good girl, I''ll take a shower and then warm milk for you."

    Anthea was confused.

Ten minutester, Adam finished showering. It was Anthea''s turn.

Adam looked at her slim and pretty back, his eyes as dim as an ancient well.

They were now husband and wife.

If it was in the past, he would have directly dealt with the person who dared to seduce Anthea.

However, he could not send someone to follow or investigate his wife now, because it would hurt

the rtionship between Anthea and him.

It was said that marriage was the tomb of love. Did Anthea start to get tired of him?

That was why she was looking for something new and exciting outside?

    Adam sighed in his heart.

    s!

Adam wiped his short hair with a towel. Then he waved at his son and said, "Erik,e here."

Hearing this, Erik immediately left building blocks behind and ran over. He raised his little face and

asked him with a smile, "Dad, what''s the matter?"

Adam slightly pursed his lips and became serious.

When Anthea came out of the bathroom, she saw that the father''s and son''s heads were close to

each other in the living room, as if they were whispering something.

Hearing her footsteps, they immediately stopped talking.

    Anthea was stunned.

It was time to sleep. As usual, she held her son in her arms on the bed and held a fairy tale book in

    her hand.

The original guest room had been changed into a children''s room. Large furniture was still there,

while some small future had been changed, which made the room full of childishness. The color of

the wall had been changed into dark blue, as well as the curtains. There was a cab with all kinds

    of car models in it.

This was all done by Adam. He tried to be a good father in all aspects.

Erik changed into light yellow pajamas, just like a young chicken that had juste out of the egg.

There was a milky smell on his body, which made people''s hearts soft.

He leaned against Anthea and said sweetly, "Mom, can you read the story of Pinhio again

tonight? I haven''t heard enough yet!"

"Okay!" Anthea nodded with a smile.

Erik''s thirst for knowledge was very strong. He tilted his head and continued to ask her, "Is there

really a Pinhio in this world? If he lies, his nose will be long. If I lie, will my nose be

    long?"

This kind of words was usually used to restrict children.

However, Anthea didn''t want to cheat him. She exined with a smile, "This is a fairy tale. Your

nose won''t be long if you lie, but it''s wrong to lie!"

"Well, I understand!" The little fellow nodded vigorously.

Anthea opened the fairy tale book, but her movement suddenly paused. She looked at her son with

inquiring eyes and asked, "Erik, before I read stories for you, I have something to ask you! When I

was showering, what were you talking to Dad?"

    Hearing this, Erik looked distressed.

He had promised to keep it a secret, but he remembered that his mother had said it was wrong to

lie. He hesitated for a moment and said, "Dad told me, if one day you want to divorce him, I must

    help him!"

    "What?" Anthea was stunned.

Erik scratched his head and continued. "When I covered Boba with quilt just now, I saw father on

the balcony talking with Uncle Gray on the phone. I heard Uncle Gray say that you had an affair!

    Mom, what is an affair?"

    Anthea was speechless.

    What was this all about!

Anthea touched her forehead, feeling both angry and funny.

After coaxing Erik to sleep, she quietly went back to the master bedroom.

Adam was sitting at the head of the bed, with his upper body exposed in the air. His lower body was

covered with quilt, but his strong muscles were still seen.

With a cigarette in his mouth, he was smoking.

Adam raised his head slightly and asked, "Did Erik sleep?"

    "Yes!" Anthea nodded.

She lifted the quilt andy down. She blinked her eyes and asked, pretending to be confused,

"Adam, do you have something on your mind?"

    Adam shook his head. "No."

Anthea nodded and didn''t ask more. She pointed to themp and said, "It''s gettingte. Let''s go to

    bed!"

    Adam said, "Okay."

He put out the cigarette in his hand and turned off the light.

The light in the room dimmed, leaving only the bright moonlighting through the curtains.

Adam''s big hand came to her with heat.

Anthea grabbed it gently, then turned her back to him and muttered, "I''m a little tired tonight. I don''t

    want to do it!"

After that, she instantly felt that the person behind her stiffened.

    Anthea suppressed herughter.

The next morning, she woke up and stretched. She had slept soundlyst night.

She opened her eyes and looked to her side. Instantly, her eyes widened in surprise. "Adam, why

are your dark circles so heavy?"

Adam sat up with her. Compared with her, he didn''t seemed to have enough sleep. He was

    obviously not resting well.

Anthea swallowed and asked uncertainly, "Adam, didn''t you sleepst night?"

Adam said hoarsely, "I lost my sleep."

Anthea didn''t know whether tough or not.

It seemed that this misunderstanding had to be rified as soon as possible!

While eating breakfast, Anthea said casually, "You go directly to the kindergarten to pick up Erik

today. I have something to do after work. I have an appointment with a friend!"

Adam paused when he heard that.

After a long silence, he slowly said, "I see."

At dusk, the sun was setting.

The military green jeep was hidden in the parking lot. Adam stared at the hospital building.

When he saw Antheaing out and getting into a taxi, he immediately stepped on the elerator

    and followed her.

When they stopped at the red light on the road, the taxi door opened and Anthea suddenly came

    over to him.
