Chapter 1311
Madam Jiles, who was brought into the police station by two policemen, was annoyed when she
heard that she would be detained as a criminal.
She banged on the desk. "How can you put me into the prison? Mywyer ising. I want to
apply for bail!"
An hour ago, when the policemen arrived at the Hsu''s house, everyone was panicked.
Seeing that the policemen went straight to her, Madam Jiles realized that the conspiracy of
kidnapping must have failed.
Although she was in a panic, she quickly calmed herself down.
It was just kidnapping!
Before she was taken out of the Hsu family, Madam Jiles ordered her son, Jayden Hsu, to find a
lawyer for her.
As long as thewyer came to the police station, she would be able to apply for bail and then go
back home!
"It would just be a simple journey to the police station," Madam Jiles thought. However, the result

"Isn''t it just kidnapping!" Madam Jiles said sarcastically. She was still aggressive and arrogant.
"Anthea Lee is a granddaughter of the Hsu family who had been raised outside of the family. She
gave me the impression that she was too disobedient. As her grandmother, I wanted to teach her a
lesson. Is it that serious? she has been rescued. Why do you still want to put me into the prison?"
The policeman on the opposite side sneered. "We can put down the kidnapping case concerning
Miss Anthea Lee for the time being. Let''s talk about the case that you hired a killer to murder your
husband six years ago."
Madam Jiles''s face instantly turned pale.
Her eyes looked flustered now, and her previous arrogance was gone instantly. She replied
ambiguously, "I, I don''t understand what you''re talking about..."
"Don''t you understand?" The pen in the policeman''s hand knocked on the table. "Six years ago,
because you were dissatisfied with the will of your husband, a wicked idea came into your head.
You wanted to take all the properties of your husband, and therefore you hired a killer to murder him
deliberately. Now this killer has been arrested and confessed to the police all the crimes rted to
himself and you!"
Madame Jiles sat down on the chair.
Her hands were trembling, and she looked frightened.
Six years ago, Master Hsu and Madam Jiles went to California for vacation. Madam Jiles found that
her husband always made phonecalls mysteriously in his study, and seemed to avoid her
deliberately. Later, she learned that he had contacted the domesticwyers in private and wanted to
make a will.
Madam Jiles immediately became angry when she learned that her husband''s will was that half of
the legacy would be inherited by Anthea Lee.
Because of the will, Master Hsu and Madam Jiles quarreled with each other almost every day.
Madam Jiles had been insisting that no legacy should be inherited by Anthea. One day, after she
quarreled fiercely with Master Hsu, her niece, Shelby Jiles, suddenly visited her, and told her a
piece of shocking news, that Anthea had seduced Adam, her former son-inw!
This made Madam Jiles even more furious. However, Master Hsu still wanted to protect Anthea!
After the Old Master went back to the home country, an evil idea came into Madam Jiles'' mind...
In fact, Master Hus had already made his will involving Anthea at aw firm long before he and his
wife went abroad for vacation.
The jeep finally arrived at the airport.
There were huge crowds of people, and the radio broadcasting was very noisy.
Anthea was brought here by Adam directly from the police station. She looked confused and didn''t
know what he wanted to do.
At first, she thought Adam was going to take her somewhere, but after they arrived at the exit of the
international arrival hall of the airport, she realized that they were going to pick somebody up.
The radio broadcasting reminded the arrival of the flights. Before long, a great many passengers
went out of the exit.
Many of these passengers were walking out with their luggage. Anthea and Adam were standing
among them.
Suddenly, Adam raised his hand and yelled out, "Mr. Wadman, we''re here!"

Among the crowd, there was an old man wearing casual clothes and a hat. He was about 60 years
old, with grey hair, but he was still very strong and walked like a gust of wind.
The old man took off his hat after he saw Adam.
Anthea looked at the old man''s facial features. He looked a little familiar to her, but she couldn''t say
exactly who he was.
While she was still confused, the old man had already walked up to them and greeted Adam.
"Mr. Wadman, thank you foring back from California. It''s a long journey!"
"It doesn''t matter. I haven''t been back for many years."
Adam then introduced Anthea, "This is Master Hsu''s old friend, Mr. Wadman."
"Haw-haw... Little girl, I still remember you!" Mr. Wadmanughed and said, "Back then, Old Hsu
held a party at home before the Spring Festival. At that party, he announced you as his
granddaughter. I even joked about introducing you to be the girlfriend of my grandson!"
Anthea was stunned.

happened to be there with him. I helped him to book the air ticket back home! In fact, the two of us
had discussed countermeasures and we wanted to persuade you to break up. Then, I was worried
and called him. He answered my phone in the coffee shop!
"In the phone call, Old Hsu told me that he had used all the soft and hard tactics, but none of them
worked!
"Later, he sighed again and said, ''Well... Young people have their own lifestyles. Since Hendrix
passed away, I have ordered Anthea to be raised outside of the Hsu family all these years, and I
owe her too much! It seems that she really likes Adam. I don''t want to make things difficult for her

Anthea abruptly took a step forward.
She stared at Mr. Wadman, and her voice was trembling. "Mr. Wadman, do you mean that in the
end, Grandpa... agreed that Adam and I could be together?"

I said just now was what your grandfather said. He said he would go out, take you back, and then

It was not untilst night when he learned that Master Hsu''s death was not an ordinary car ident
that he suddenly remembered the phone call before the Old Master''s death. Immediately, he called
Mr. Wadman and learned the whole story. After that, his whole heart was so excited that it was
almost bulging.
Adam guessed that even if Anthea realized that her grandfather was killed by a murderer, she
would still feel guilty to be with him again. For this reason, he asked Mr. Wadman to do him a favor.
And then Mr. Wadman flew back to the home country.
