Chapter 1123
Den''s heart was beating faster and faster, and he felt that he couldn''t control it.
There seemed to be billowing waves of emotions within his heart, and he imagined countless
possibilities. Was it simply a coincidence, or did she change her mind and temporarily decide to
watch the y together with him?
Thinking of thetter possibility, Den became extremely excited.
But on second thought, he realized that when he talked to Anthea at noon, he didn''t seem to tell her
when the y would start...
At this time, Den couldn''t think too much about it. Even if it was simply a coincidence, it was still
enough to make him excited. His eyes were almost glued to Anthea, and he wished he could fly
directly to her just like an eagle.
Just as Den eagerly wanted to go down the steps, he saw a tall and strong figure approached
Anthea.
At this time, the expression on Den''s face was still normal. However, after that, he saw Adam''s
big hand take Anthea''s, and the two of them were then holding each other''s hands with their fingers
crossed. Her slender body was leaning against him just like a little kitten...
Den felt as if he had been suddenly struck by lightning.
He thought of the fact that Adam had mentioned his "girlfriend" a number of times, as well as the
aloe vera which looked quite familiar to him...
Den was dumbfounded on the spot, and his face now was as dull as a puppy. The only thing he
could do was to watch their intimate behaviors.
However, weren''t the two of them uncle-inw and niece-inw?
Den felt very confused and petrified.
Den was formerly a college student, and heter joined the army. Throughout his life he had
never been dating with any girl. He had a secret crush on Anthea. Unfortunately, before Den
could normally start going after Anthea, she became the girlfriend of Adam.
Den was hit so hard by the scene that he felt life was meaningless.
Captain Chin acted far more quickly than he had expected...
"It''s really too fast!" Den thought.
Anthea''s heart waspletely filled with the joy of dating with Adam, and she didn''t notice that
someone else was heartbroken while watching the two of them.
When Adam''s big hand reached out to her, Anthea couldn''t wait to put her little hand into it. She
then asked softly and sweetly, "Have you waited for a long time?"
The two of them didn''t leave the college together. Adam said that he wanted to go home to fetch
something, and they made an appointment to meet here, where they didn''t have to worry that
anyone who was familiar with them might see them dating. In this case, there might be rumors
about their rtionship.
"No, not long at all." Adam''s palm wrapped around hers.
Anthea acted coquettishly, "Girls always spend a lot of time dressing up."
Although she said so, her palm-sized face was delicate and beautiful, and there was no trace of
heavy makeup. Her eyes and eyebrows remained natural, while only a little pink lip cream was
applied to her lips.
Her beautiful lips had be even more delicate and tenderer at this moment.
It was rare for Adam to show his kindness at this moment, for he held up his eagerness to kiss her
on the spot, in order not to give others a bigger blow.
He simply said, "Let''s go."
He took Anthea''s hand and walked toward the parking lot instead of the theater.
She was surprised. "Hey... Aren''t we going in to watch the y?"
"No," Adam replied calmly.
"Then why should we meet in this theatre?" Anthea asked in confusion.
Adam''s eyes moved slightly, and he answered casually, "I have something to deal with here."
"Then have you finished dealing with it now?" Anthea asked virtuously.
Out of the corners of his eye, Adam inadvertently nced at the figure of Den, who
was gloomily leaving along the stairs on the side. He twitched his lips and said, "Yes."
Anthea stopped suspecting anything else and was then obediently led by Adam to the military jeep
which was green.
The jeep had a military license te. It was the one Adam used to drive in the past.
When Anthea sat on the passenger seat, she couldn''t help but reflect upon the rtionship between
Adam and her. A year ago, their rtionship was still the uncle-inw and niece-iw. But now, the
two of them had crossed the line of rtives and be lovers. Although Anthea felt shy and
shameful about it, she still couldn''t hold back her smile.
Adam started the engine and drove the jeep out of the theater.
After a short while, the jeep came down from the Second-ring Overpass and stopped in front of a
high-end restaurant.
When Anthea unbuckled her seat belt, she tilted her head and looked at the facade of the
restaurant. It was three stories high, an especially luxurious building. All the rooms had floor-to-
ceiling windows, and the decoration style was gorgeous. Anthea felt that even the statue of fortune
cat at the door was worth a great deal.
While Anthea was still watching the facade, Adam had already got out of the jeep, turned around,
and opened the door for her.
Bearing in her mind the fact that this restaurant had been particrly chosen by Adam, Anthea
already could feel the romantic atmosphere before she entered the restaurant. Her face blushed out
of excitement and, after unbuckling her seat belt, she jumped out of the car.
The two of them entered the restaurant through the sensor door, and the manager immediately
greeted
Adam with great enthusiasm and respect, "Mr. Chin!"
Adam answered nonchntly.
Anthea followed Adam closely, thinking sweetly that he must have made a reservation in advance.
The first floor and the second floor were both dining halls, while only the third floor had private
rooms. Adam held Anthea''s hand and walked into one of the rooms familiarly.
Anthea couldn''t help asking, "Do you oftene here for dinner?"
"Well... Yes." Adam nodded.
Anthea was brought to a table near the window. She thought that he had picked up a good spot,
where the two of them could have a good view of the whole restaurant. What''s more, they could
also enjoy the beautiful sceneries of the sunset outside.
What Anthea didn''t know was that this table was generally reserved all the year around.
The lighting effect of the restaurant was very dim. Warm and soft light poured down upon every
dining table, shining on the red roses in the ss bottles, and making the atmosphere romantic and
cozy. People having their dinner here were supposed to naturally lower their voices when they
talked to others, because the environment here seemed to be serene and quiet in its ways.
Anthea liked this ce very much.
She looked around and was surprised to find that their table was the only one upied by
customers.
Anthea nced at her watch. It should be the time for dinner now, but she didn''t see any other
customers, except for the walking waiters and waitresses.
She silentlyined in her heart that the business of this restaurant didn''t seem to be good!
The manager, together with a waitress, came over to their table and handed over them the menu
wrapped in a blue cloth package, which was decorated with exquisite patterns.
Adam took the menu and was about to give it to Anthea. "Is there anything you want to eat?"RêAdt??St chapters at Novel(D)ra/ma.Org Only
Anthea thought about the fact that Adam was familiar with this restaurant, which was confirmed by
himself, and then didn''t take the menu. Instead, she said sweetly, "Okay... I''ll eat whatever you
order."
"Alright." Adam''s lips curled up happily.
He acted as if he really hade here very often.
He didn''t even open the menu. He just casually put it on the table and told the waitress the names
of several dishes, all of which were the famous dishes in the restaurant.
After ordering the dishes, another waiter quickly came over and served them two cups of specially-
made rose water. Then, the waiter stood nearby and waited for orders from Anthea and Adam.
There were delicate rose petals floating in the water cups, and the rose-red ripples were like just
those of Bordeaux wine. Anthea felt as if she could smell the fragrance of the rose water when she
watched this beautiful beverage.
Anthea picked up the cup and took a small sip. Her legs began to shake and tremble because of the
delicious drink.
When she raised her head, she suddenly noticed that the face of Adam, who was sitting opposite
her, looked a little gloomy.
Anthea was stunned. "What''s wrong?"
Adam was silent. He nced at the waiter who was standing beside Anthea with his ck eyes and
suddenly stood up.
He strode to her and took off his coat.
Then, he stretched out the coat and covered it on her thighs.
"I''ve told you that girls shouldn''t wear short skirts like this one." Adam frowned and said in a low
voice, with an air of dominance.
"..." Anthea twitched her lips in grievance. Adam put his palm over her head, then bent over and put
his thin lips near her ear. "I''m the only one who can see you wearing sexy skirts."
