<h4>Chapter 506: A Group of Muncxes Fell from the Tree</h4>

    After the crowd smeared fresh honey, Pele hid along with the hill people. They hid and waited for a Muncx to take the bait. As a gust of wind blew over, the honey’s smelt spread far away, and a sweet fragrance lingered in the air.

    The little creature was looking around sneakily, and it used its nose to sniff around before it stuck out its tongue and licked the honey applied by the crowd on the tree trunk. Soon after, the little creature smacked its lips and jumped toward another tree. It licked the honey carefully before it jumped again toward another tree. It would never stay on a tree for a long time.


    It seemed from the Muncx’s outward appearance that it was a stupid and clumsy bear, but as a matter of fact, it was more alert and vignt than Siberian Snow Rabbits.


    When the crowd discerned that the Muncx started staying on every tree for a longer time, the crowd realized that they reached the crucial juncture, and they held their breaths so that they wouldn’t scare this swift little creature by mistake.


    The forest was Muncx’s home, and as long as it managed to escape, even the swiftest hunters wouldn’t be able to overtake it, and their previous efforts would be wasted.


    Gurgle!


    After the small bear observed the surroundings for a while and didn’t find anything strange, it finally couldn’t resist the allure of honey any longer. It stuck out its tongue and started noisily licking the honey with gusto. The more it licked, the more energetic it became, and it seemed like a starved ghost that wished to swallow the whole tree trunk.

It has a tasty vor, but it’s quite strong, and if one drank too much of it, he would be confused and disoriented as if he got drunk.” When Pele saw Yang Ling observing the disoriented Muncx in confusion, he exined this to him in a low voice.


    “This is why you are using this method to make the gluttonous Muncx fell off the trees, isn’t it so?” Upon hearing Pele’s exnation, Yang Ling looked at the drunk Muncx. He finally understood everything!

    Tsk, tsk! After it ate its fill, it went to sleep. It was really enjoying itself!


    Yang Ling observed the Muncx bouncing up and down in the air like a swing and chuckled softly. This beast had a round head and a plump body, and they both made it seem cuter. If it was domesticated and sold as a pet, it would surely be popr among young girls and noblewomen.


    “The Muncx is fond of sleepingzily after eating to its fill. Lord Yuri, observe us.” After Pele waited for a while and discerned that the Muncx was really sound asleep, he got excited, and he talked with Yang Ling before he took out a fis. He led his few tribesmen and approached stealthily the small tree where the little creature stayed.


    It wasn’t difficult for experienced hill people to find a Muncx in the boundless forest. But capturing it sessfully wasn’t so easy. Many times, after they set up half of the trap, it would be wrecked by other Magical Beasts.


    The hill people didn’t expect that everything would go smoothly on this day, and they weren’t bothered by any other Magical Beasts. This was a golden opportunity bestowed by Heaven!


    The overjoyed Pele sneaked toward the Muncx carefully, and the hill people gradually got closer to the Muncx. But when the crowd just assumed that they would seed, a hill person stepped on a branch by mistake and broke it. A cracking noise echoed out, and it alerted the sleeping Muncx.


    The Muncx let out a strange cry and started jumping among big trees before it disappeared quickly among them. Even though the Muncx was still staggering because it was intoxicated, it still had a high speed.


    They worked hard in vain!


    When Pele and others saw the Muncx leaving far away, they were quite frustrated. They didn’t expect that their efforts would be wasted at thest moment. As long as they shook the small tree strongly, they would have been able to throw the Muncx into the fis. But, it had already escaped quickly after it was awoken, and the crowd wasn’t able to intercept it.


    “Lord Yuri, I’m sorry. Let’s change the location and try again.” Pele felt quite embarrassed. He wanted to show his skill in front of Yang Ling, yet everything was ruined at thest moment.


    “It’s fine, let’s go.” Yang Ling looked at the embarrassed Pele whose face was flushed and smiled.


    After the crowd ran around for two hours, they managed again to find tracks of a Muncx. The excrement on the ground demonstrated that a group of Muncxes was likely present in the vicinity, and the crowd was overjoyed by this discovery.


    “Pele, let me deal with it this time. I have a Magical Spell that can increase the effects of the honey, and it will quickly intoxicate the Muncxes that will take the bate. I can assure you that none will get to escape it.” After Yang Ling got to know that a group of Muncxes was in the vicinity, he decided not to let this chance slip by.

After they verified that nothing strange was here, they felt relieved, and they started licking the honey on the trees. Soon after, the Muncxes started sleeping on the branches and snoring loudly.


    “Lord Yuri, can we start taking actions?” When Pele saw that the Muncxes started sleeping loudly one after the other, he questioned Yang Ling in a low voice.


    “It’s fine, observe me.” Yang Ling spoke and swaggered in front of the nervous crowd’s gazes. Yang Ling started shaking the trees strongly, and after he had done so, the Muncxes started falling down on the ground like rain, and they couldn’t stand up again even after struggling on the ground for a long time.

    “Pele, take those two Muncxes and bear my name in mind. It’s Yuri. If you suffer any trouble one day, you can go to the Magical Beast Territory’s Hunter Guild and seek the beast tamer Bolso. He will inform you where I am.” Yang Ling threw two Muncxes at the front and moved the remaining Muncxes into the Wizard Pagoda’s dimension before he left nimbly.


    A dozen and more Muncxes were a great figure to the hill people, and if they got just a single Muncx, they would be overjoyed. But a dozen and more weren’t worth mentioning to Yang Ling’s Magical Beast Army, and they wouldn’t y an important role on the battlefield.
