    Yang Ling soon understood the situation with the Corpse Wizard King’s exnation.


    As it turned out, Winnink had led arge group of Dead Soul Knights under the Flying Dragon King Seylius’s direction to meet with the Corpse Wizard King. The number of dead souls controlled by the Teo of them was astonishing. Some were zombies that were heavily armored, some others were as fast as a Soul Snake, and there were also others that could assault at the strength of a Dead Soul Knight... They amounted to more than ten thousand man.


    The Underground Tomb was huge and the first level was just the perimeter of the tomb. They would only truly enter the tomb buried the Pharaohs of past dynasties after entering the second level. There was a small piece of tnd nearby the entrance to the second level of the tomb.


    To execute a mass killing of the main powers of the Church, the Corpse Wizard King and Winnink instructed the Undead Army to set upyers of ambushes in the tnd. They attacked the Church that was caught unaware at all cost, andunched attacks after attacks fiercely.


    After the shock of the sudden attack and the tidal-like dead souls, the Church exploded with an astounding amount of strength as all the Temr Warriors and Temrs Spellcasters coborated their attacks. Under their aggressive assault, the Undead Army lost most of their people in just more than half an hour. However, the Church had also suffered from many casualties under the Undead Army’s attack. The troop that had more than a thousand people were only left with less than five-hundred after the battle.


    After the shocking loss, Elder Brown had no choice but to retreat into the second level of the Underground Tomb and backed up frantically. The Corpse Wizard King, Winnink and the other dead souls went right after them, unwilling to give up on this rare opportunity.


    There were supposed to be a pack of Hell Dogs guarding the entrance to the second level. However, they have all been killed by the joint attack of the Bellimore Family, the Dark Association and the other major powers, and there had been no other obstacles along the way. They didn’t expect that they would lure out arge group of terrifying Burning Fire Elves with the concentrated scent of blood and the deafening sound of killings.


    As they were caught unaware, more than one hundred wounded soldiers of the Church Army were burnt charcoal ck by the sky-high mes emitted from the Burning Fire Elves, just with their mere appearance. The Undead Army of Corpse Wizard King and Winnink were surrounded by walls of sky-high mes. Even the Bellimore Family and Dark Association that were re-organising nearby had also been affected.


    The Burning Fire Elves are natural Fire Element Spellcasters. They would be able tounch any low-level spells in a split second after they are of age. Moreover, the power of their high-level spells are beyond the imagination of an ordinary person!” Winnink shook his head with a dark expression.


    He continued after deliberating for a moment, “The Hell Dogs that guarded the entrance were mostly naturally immune to Fire Element Spells, and are the best source of strength to suppress the Hell Dogs. It might not take long for the Fire Burning Elves to take over the entire perimeter of the Underground Tomb. When that happens, it’s afraid that nobody could escape from the disaster, let alone explore the deep ends of the Underground Tomb!”


    “Yes. No matter how many people they have, it wouldn’t be of any help before the raging mes!” The Corpse Wizard King gritted his teeth as he touched his eyebrows that were almost burnt. “D*mn the guys from the Church. They cried louder than pigs being ughtered just by suffering a few wounds, and left their mess behind after attracting a group of Burning Fire Elves. They had purposely swarmed towards ces that were crowded and dragged all the mercenaries and explorers down with them. Although they speak of kindness, they were actually more cunning than anyone else deep in their hearts!”


    “Hehe, how do they be a conman if they weren’t cunning?” Yang Ling kept the Great Wizard Alter and said coldly, “Let’s go. If we can’t avoid them, we might as well joint forces with the other major powers earlier to attack. I would like to see exactly how powerful are the Burning Fire Elves!”


    Knowing that the Burning Fire Elves would kill their way over sooner orter without the suppression from the Hell Dogs, Yang Ling decided to act first to gain the upper hand. After all, the most important task of his trip was topletely destroy the hidden danger in the Underground Tomb. If the major powers were to fight independently in the chaotic situation and died in the hands of the Burning Fire Elves, he might have to deal with the threat of the Fire Burning Elves alone!


    Besides, in order to kill the Pirate One-eyed Dragon, to form a good rapport with the mysterious Sea Tribe, and to build a good foundation for trading between the two parties and for exploration of the foreign remains of the Ancient Wizard, he couldn’t leave Mermaid Evelyn and her gang to their deaths.


    After constructing a Teleportation Spell Formation in the Forz Castle and ensuring that there’s a definite route for retreat, Yang sling quickly led everyone towards the second level of the tomb. To ensure their safety and to prevent any sudden attacks from the Fire Burning Elves, he sent out a group of lightning speed Horned Bee Beasts to lead the way. He also had the Corpse Wizard King and Winnink wore a mask and changed their clothings so as to prevent their identity from being exposed and cause unnecessary trouble.


    A camel that has been starved to death was stillrger than a horse. Even though the Church has suffered from huge losses and were only left with around three hundred people, Yang Ling still didn’t wish to have any direct conflict with them.


    ording to Winnink’s memories, the Underground Tomb was deeper beyond anyone’s expectations withyers afteryers. Even if they were able to enter the second level, they would still be far away from the burial site of the Pharaoh King. There were countless dead souls and monsters along the way, and it wouldn’t make sense for them personally fight with the remaining soldiers of the Church at this time. There would still be many chances tounch a secret attack on them throughout the journey even if they were able to get pass the Burning Fire Elves.


    There were many holes in the ground that were steaming with thick smoke all around the second level of the Underground Tomb. The lighting was even worse than that of the first level with the cloudy sky, and the strong smell of sulphur in the air made them feel suppressed and suffocated.


    Looking in from the entrance, Yang Ling realised that there were many soldiers, explorers and major powers trapped by the sky-high wall of mes. The hovering Burning Fire Elves were floating around and emitting rows of firewalls or fireballs, such that the major powers were all separated and had to fight independently.


    The Burning Fire Elves were as tall as an ordinary person. They don’t have legs and hover above the ground like the Evil Eyes. However, they were evidently much faster in speed than the slow Evil Eyes. Opening their arms and dragging along the dancing mes, they would be able to emit rows or firewalls or strings of fireballs just by chanting a few lines of curse. The speed at which it can cast a spell exceeded way beyond that of a Spellcaster.


    ording to Winnink’s memory, the Undergroud Tomb had a long history. Legend has it that it has been around since the Thebes Empire was established, and each generation of Pharaoh had only expanded the territory on its original base. It was rumoured that the fifth generation of Pharaoh had once led a troop made up of Sage-level and Domain Experts to another dimension, and brought back a group of powerful Burning Fire Elves. They were then trapped in the second level of the tomb, and used as guards for the tomb that wasid generations ofte Pharaohs.


    Other the hundreds and thousands of years, Winnink had tried to enter the second level of the tomb countless times to find a way to ditch his outlook that looked like neither a human nor a ghost. He had personally witnessed many powerful dead souls being surrounded by arge group of Burning Fire Elves where they were burnt into ashes. Although he was able to sessfully avoid the attacks and pursue of the Burning Fire Elves time and time again with the help of the Phantom Cloak’s invisibility and speedy spells, he still had to be extremely careful every time he entered the second level of the tomb. He didn’t expect that the d*mn Church would dare to barge in recklessly and lure out arge group of Burning Fire Elves.


    After concentrating for a brief moment, Yang Ling found the struggling Mermaid Evelyn and here gang though the hazy air and sky-high mes.


    Although this trip had been a rush for Evelyn as she had to search for the legendary Staff of Life, she had nevertheless brought quite a few powerful spellcasters and warriors. However, the unique environment in the second level of the Underground Tomb resulted in the scarcity of the Water Element Spells in the air. Except for a few Wind Element Spellcasters, the Water Element Spellcasters who came along were almost of no help.


    The people of Sea Tribe were natural Water Element Spellcasters. They could summon the wind and rain in the vast sea, and could y with the power of the Water Element Spells to its full potential. However, they couldn’t evenunch a tiny waterball after suppressing for half a day in the tomb.


    Worst of all, Evelyn and her gang already had to borrow the Crystal Essence of the Star-tailed Fish to leave the sea for a long period of time. They wouldn’t be able to deal with the direct attacks of the firewalls or fireballs when the rising temperature was already a torture to them. Although Evelyn had tried to organise her elites to charge their way out a few times, there were of chance for them to breakthrough the obstacles of the Burning Fire Elves. If not for the significant threat posed by the few warriors and Wind Element Spellcasters in the troop to the Burning Fire Elves, they would possibly be wiped out a long time ago.


    “Hahaha, ming Magical Wall. Let it burn, burn, burn!” A Burning Fire Elf who wore a red armor and had a fire seal in between his browsughed loudly andunched a few walls of sky-high mes. Under hismand, the Burning Fire Elves nearby contributed with firewalls that slithered like fire snakes to separate the major powers and to wound everyone up in a trap.


    The mercenaries and explorers had no chance against and were in much pain due to the firewalls with sky-high mes and the numerous fireballs. There were some unlucky ones falling into the sea of fire from time to time, letting out a scream that pierced the bones. There were also some of them that were burnt into chunks of charcoal, and even some others that were burnt into ashes in a blink of an eye.


    The Bellimore Family and Dark Association were also moaning in pain as they were caught unaware by the fierce attacks of the Burning Fire Elves. They were unable to charge out of the trap sessfully even after a few tries, save for the troops led by the Fire Domain Spellcaster Fearn that were of a little use. They upied a corner where they could attack and defend to observe the situation.


    Yang Ling knew that their lives were at stake as he looked at Evelyn’s long robe that had holes burnt into it, her pale face and the wavering defence line of the troops. After contemting for a moment, hemanded with conviction, “Rodriguez and Winnink, you two kill your way over quickly, get rid of those Burning Fire Elves by the Sea Tribe and get them out safely. Ymort, you willmand your scorpions to cover their backs. Seylius, you will receive them together with Little Ice. Go!”


    “Alright!”


    Rodriguez and Winnink rushed towards the location of the Sea Tribe quickly. Although they were moving at the speed of light, they still attracted the attention of a troop of Burning Fire Elves shortly after they made their move. However, just as they were about to attack, they heard a sharp noise that broke through the air. Ten Fire Burning Elves copsed and died vengefully with a sh of silver light.


    Yang Ling used the Soul ughtering Arrow that he had concentrated from the Chilly Ice Energy to showcase a terrifying lethality at the crucial moment. Once the Great Soul Wizard had targeted on the energy waves of a Burning Fire Elf, none of them would be able to escape from the disaster!


    “Oh god, Fire Crystals. These Burning Fire Elves had really turned into a premium fire crystal after they died, just like how the singing poets had described!”


    After the ten Burning Fire Elves copsed, their body dissipated into thin air in the blink of an eye and transformed into a ring red Premium Fire Crystal which attracted the everyone’s attention quickly. A few mercenaries shouted and pounced over excitedly without any regards. A Premium Fire Crystal could be sold for a few thousand, or even a few ten thousand Purple Crystal Coins. It would probably worth more than a treasure if they were able to just grab one of the crystals!
