Chapter 17 You Don’t Wanna Divorce?
Edmond’s appearance shocked udia for some moment.
She didn’t expect that Edmond could get out of the hospital so fast. She had believed that he would
stay in hospital for longer days.
Edmond’s sight fell on Waldron’s hand which held hers. Without thinking, udia swayed away
Waldron’s hand.
Waldron caught clear sight of the rage in Edmond’s eyes. Waldron slowly curved the corner of his lips.
“Mr. Lamont, aren’t you sick? Why are you here?”
Edmond didn’t look at Waldron. Instead, Edmond paced quickly to udia and asked, “The doctor told
me that you didn’t finish your body check before you went out, did you?”
“Well, I’m fine.”
udia thought her heart more hurt than her health.
She felt surprised about Edmond’s appearance, wondering whether he was here to take her back to
the hospital for the body check.
However, udia’s answer didn’t get Edmond reassured.
“I’ll bring you back to the hospital. You must finish your body check today.”
Edmond’s voice was down and determined. It seemed that he would not allow anyone to deny him.

“No wonder Rosalie said that Waldron is taking udia to visit his parents. They should be,” Edmond

“Thank you, but no need.” Edmond walked over and held udia’s shoulder, saying, “It’s almost the
day. She needs rest. It’s your father’s birthday today. I already prepared a gift for him. My driver will
send it to you. But I have something to do so I can’t go this time. I’ll visit him the next time.”
“Let’s go.”
udia felt her shoulder burning in his hug.
“Wait.” Waldron didn’t let them go. “I need to give you the reply.”

udia walked to the side and saw that the car was gone. An ironic smile appeared on her lips.

joyful. “Let’s go.”

Half a minute passed, and the bicycle still stayed paused.
“What?” udia widened her eyes and said, “Edmond, you can’t ride this?”
Edmond froze.
Well, he couldn’t.
The bike seemed small, but there were too many buttons.
Let it go. Leave it to me.”
udia drove him away and sat on the rider’s seat. Edmond had to sit in the back seat with his tall
figure.
“Hold it tight…”
With that, udia turned the handlebar and rushed out.
The wind blew her long hair and rubbed Edmond’s face.

“Edmond.” Her voice came from the wind.

“What if I say no?” Edmond asked.

“No way.” udia gritted her teeth and reminded Edmond, also to remind herself. “You forgot what you
said at our wedding night?”
He had said, “I won’t love you. Apart from money and identity, I won’t give you anything.”
She had asked for his love for three years.
But just after his first love came back, he didn’t want to divorce? No way! She had been determined.
Chapter 18 Let Him Go
In the car, Rosalie watched the trees and traffic receded behind her. Tears welled up in her eyes.
“Edmond…”
Rosalie was left behind.
