Mike didn''t wanted to draw any attention to him , maybe getting bullied or being ignored is a good thing . At least to Mike . After all he''s already used to being an outsider , so why does a few years more matter ?
Why only a few years ? Mike may not know what these knights and magic stuff represents , however he got into the royal academy of the Lion Kingdom . Naturally some tales exists in the common folk .
For example it is told that people gradutatig from the academy will become 100 man generals of the army , some even becomes 1000 man generals . He even heard of a student becoming a noble by gradutating from this school ! That means a piece of land where you can rule , be a king .
Now that an appearently influent young noble boy called out to him and wanted to make a so called "room" with him shocked him . After all it''s better not to draw any attention .
However being a cripple he already knew the best choice in this situation . He agreed , not only that he even acted honored being in the same group as the young noble .
This caused the majority of the mass to glance at him with a disgusting look . However Mike ignored it .
Thus the situation of the young noble , Hek , leading Mike to his new dorm in which they will live together for the rest of the school life .
"You don''t have to be so shy , if you want to leave then you can leave the room . You only have to find another lodging ." explained Hek while looking back towards Mike . "Not only that , the school will protects you from every harm you may experience . Tomorrow the general selection will happen . You will take a test which will show your element as well as your brach of it . Since my family is from nobility we have such a test stone in our dorm . You should test it so you don''t have to do it tomorrow ."
Nodding like a good minion Mike didn''t said anything , experience showed that more important people didn''t liked to be interrupted .
"Oh , if you tests your element and branch it will show you your study possibilitys . The school will also get notified by it ." added Hek while glancing at Mike .
Just as Mike wanted to continue his nodding Hek talked in a different tone : "Well , since we are now alone i can state my own wish . Did you see my sister ? Isn''t she hot ?"
"Certainly ." replied Mike in a humble tone .
"Naturally she is . A Perky figure combined with a good household . She is everything you can imagine . However all of my brothers have more power than me and other noble houses are interested as well . So i need to create my own force . How about it ? I think you just want to bang some chics so i will give you the money to buy your own slaves okay ?" sneered Hek while asking Mike to be his minion .
Perplexed Mike looked at Hek . Is this some kind of prejudice ? Just because he looked like the kind of guy who would rape every defensless woman it isn''t certain that he will do that .
However to buy some time to get the necessary information Mike didn''t replied instantly , instead he put up his "difficult decision face" (It wasn''t so hard) and replied : "I certainly would like ..... however i think i am going to be the loser of this transaction so i would like to get some time to think about it ."
As if knowing what would come Hek replied : "Hahah , naturally . And i know exactly where you can get the information : At the library . If you made your decision we can sign the blood pact ."
Smiling like an idiot Mike cursed inwardly : "What the heck is this blood pact ? I need to hope that this guy in front of me is a real idiot and not like one of those people acting like a pig to devour the tiger ."
After showing Mike the "Dorm" , which consisted of a few mansion for each person , Hek lead Mike to the library as well as the test stone . Afterwards he said goodbye while adding in a few sentence that indicated that if Mike follows his lead he will get a few juice pair of slave legs ."
Waving like an idiot Mike rushed towards the library as soon as possible , first the school rules !
Nobody stopped him front entering the huge building , only a sparce amount of people walked in an out . Nobody looked at Mike , everyone is busy reading their own book or walking away from the library .
Just as Mike wanted to search for the school rules a fairy suddenly appeard in front of him .
"Ugly ! Ugly ! Ugly good ! Kikiiiiikii ." giggled the fairy while doing some somersaults in the air .
Ignoring the fairy Mike walked further away , searching the school book in another section of the library .
However the fairy followed and summoned a few bigger fire sparks , causing Mikes clothes starting to burn .
Trying to stay silent Mike tried to suffocate the flames . However it was no solution , the flames burn this skin as Mike tried to take down the flames .
Giving up to take the flames down he search for the fairy and tried to grab it , at least the fairy has to know how to avoid him from burning till death , right ?
However the fairy giggled while giggling in delight : "Catch me ~ , kikikikki ."
Suddenly a light appeared , which extinguished the flames on Mikes body .
"Argaaa , what do you want you stupid stupid stupid thing !" cried the fairy while appearently trying to run away .
However a hand which appeared out of nothing stopped the fairy from flying away . To put it precisely a stone hand .
"I am sorry for the inconvience the fairy caused , you can continue with your search student ." apogolized a deep voice before looking at the student .
Surprised he looked at Mike before asking : "New Student ? Well , to say sorry for the trouble you can check your element and branch in the library . It only gives you a head start of one day ."
Gathering up his courage Mike began to speak : "No need , a noble invited me into his room . He has one of those testers in the dorm ."
"Oh ?"
Watching how the fairy slowly disappeared from his hands caused Mike to gulp . A Threat ?
"Well , i think you probably joined the noble with a blood pact . Good luck with that , it''s for eternity . Even though the school will protect every single one of the students until they gradutate ."
"I didn''t wrote a blood pact , the noble gave me time to consider it ." replied Mike , trying not to anger the creature in front of him .
"Oh ? Good , then i would give an advice to you . Don''t join a room or create a room , it will only push down your ressources if you''re weak . How about joining the library dorm ? Meanwhile sweat poured out of Mike''s body , maybe he made a mistake . Certainly it seemed if he didn''t agree on it then the creature in front of him will smash him into meat pulp .
So Mike could only nod , changing from a seemingly dumb young noble to a stone creature which could smash him into pulp .
"Hahaha , good . You will remain here and we will tests your Element and Branch , come with me !" laughed the creature while walking in a direction .
With a bitter smile Mike could only follow the creature , what surprised him is the fact that even though the giant creature is made out of stone , the steps sounded as if a feather touched the ground .
After passing a few section , arriving in the inner parts of the library in which the only lights appeared be some kind of crystals hanging on the ceiling , Mike could see a stone wall standing in the middle of the room .
"Touch it and it will show you your element and the branch . Be grateful , if you didn''t meet me everyone would know whether you have a popular element or a popular branch ." said the creature before letting Mike walking towards the stone wall .
As Mike touched the stone he couldn''t feel the difference between a normal wall and this wall , however sentences appeared on it as soon as Mike touched the wall .

Frowing about the fact that a stone wall called his body useless Mike deemed the stone as quite useless . After all it seemed like one of this special abiltys will nuture his body .
"I know this gaze kiddo , even if you have a special abilty to enhance your body , it won''t be real . It will be more like it enhances something different and the effect of that is the good body ." grumbled the creature before smiling : "Good , now i will give you your room . In that room you can read every single book of the library . Food will appear in your room every single day ."
Before Mike could refute or try to suck up on the creature to avoid any bad future for him , the creature nudged him causing him to fall into darkness .
As Mike opened his eyes he could see one of those light crystals hanging above him .
After confirming his surrounding he frowned , no door , no windows and the only thing besides the bed is a column with a book on top of it .
A vast space filled the rest of the room which could be described as a little training hall .
With nothing to do Mike could only go towards the most interesting thing the room , the book on top of a column .
As soon as Mike touched it he could see different words popping up , each with different themes .
Thinking of the fact that the creature brabbled something about book and self study Mike searched for his branch , or anything related to it .
Soon he found the word "Necromancer" , though he has to flip many sites before he could find it .
Not knowing how to continue Mike just pressed the word , causing all of the words to disappear . Only to be replaced with three Lines :

After Confirming that besides the 3 Lines and the "Back to table of Content" on the top left corner nothing appeared , Mike pressed Beginner .
Now book titles filled the pages , causing Mike to feel a surge of excitement in his heart . Mike started with the most basic book "Magic for Beginners" .
Magicians are the upper fighters in the world , countless variation exists in the world . Even those so called Fighters are in true nothing more than variation of Magicians . The most basic exercise on how to get stronger as a mage is to meditate , just calm down and meditate . You should feel your magic sea after a while , grow it to get more capacity and thus stronger .
First of all Magicians are ranked by the amount of Spirit Force in their sea , however it doesn''t indicate their strength . In theory a beginner Magician can stab a world-class Magican to death . However it is unlikely since strong Magicians have enough sea-capacity to destroy entire citys within seconds .
Second of all the element and branch indicates the status in many countries , Light and Holy are extremely valuable to most countries . After all the persons who got these elements are mostlikely to have the necessary charm to influence other people . Not every Light and Holy Magician has the charm . It even can be that one of the Darker Elements got the necessary charm . But since the Darker Elements focuses on Things like abusing souls , controlling corpses or drinking blood it is rather unlikely .
The rest of the elements haven''t any characteristic trait . There is no explanation for what element and what branch you get . Live with it since every element has its weaknessess and its strength .
To sum it up : find your weaknessess , grow your sea by meditating and get stronger !
After reading the Book Mike started to meditate on his bed . Since the books describes it as a state of comfortable thinking he felt that lying on a soft bed will stimulate his brain into the so called meditative state .
Suspecting that the awakening in the field or the stone-wall-element-indicator did something to him Mike could feel his whole body . To described it in other ways , Mike saw his whole body . The sea is located in the middle of his three hearts .
However Mike quickly realized that the sea is his so called Magic Core which he got from the awakening .
Just as Mike wanted to expand the magic core he felt that something else is near the magic core .
Looking at it Mike frowned the thing isn''t near the core , instead it encircled it . Trying to ignore and expand the magic core Mike could feel realization coming to him . The Magic core isn''t the sea , the Magic core is in the sea !
After trying to expand the sea Mike frowned , he only could expand the sea step by step .
But Mike didn''t continued to meditate , instead he opened his eyes and searched for a few spells he can caste . For that he used the book on the column to search for beginner necromancer skills .
Deciding on a book with the title "4 Basic Spells for Every Dark Magician" Mike started to read :
There are five Basic spells for Dark Magician :
- Summon Minion
- Acid Ball / Poison Ball
- Stamina Absorption
- Blood Control
After finishing the book Mike started to think about his future path . It may not be important to choose the branch which the stone suggested , but it certainly is your strength .
Thus Mike decided to pick Summon Minion as his first skill , later on Stamina Absorption and maybe Acid or Poison Ball as the last basic skill . Since blood control didn''t sounded so appealing to him he decided to not learn it .
It is better to have more skills , but he isn''t even sure if its possible for him to master the Summon Minion Spell . As people say : If you do something , do it right .
Putting away his thought on his future he decided to test the spell .
Concentrating himself he did like the Book told him , concentrate on your sea , try to gather it and then release it with the proper image .
If you can''t do it in one go , then take several steps , for example a fireball . Try to imagine it , release your energy in a slow matter and Tada ! A fireball will appear before you . Now you only have to release it .
Though the Spell Summon Minion for Mike is easier than a fireball . It may sound creepy at first , but somehow Mike is able to imagine a full skeleton without even having seen a corpse .
Pondering if it has something to do with the fact that he seems to be specialized in Necromancy , Mike summoned his first minion .
His Spirit force slowly disappeared from his sea , as well as the magic core which is in the sea .
Naturally Mike release his Spirit force slowly , afterall he wants to get information whether he has enough energy to summon a minion in a single go .
But as Mike completed a few rips of his minion he felt how his sea neared his limits .
Wiping his sweat away Mike looked at the uncompleted minion .
An upper skeleton chest , with finished arms and a few rips greeted him .
Panting Mike moved back to his bed and meditated to regenerate his Spirit force .
After repeating the process of using up his Spirit Force to generate his Minion and meditating for 2 times the Minion finally stood in his final might .
However Mike looked extremely disappointed at the Minion .
He never believed that the Minion would even be smaller than him . Because of his Henchback his height is only about 1.5 meters . Now that his summoned Minion is even smaller than him , how should he even use this minion ?
Trying to comfort himself that appearance can fool people he decided to command the minion to push his bed .
After summoning the Minion Mike could judge that summoning is way harder than controlling . Thus he wondered , why does the book tells Magician to create their own skeletons ? Wouldn''t it be way easier to collect corpses throughout the land and revive the fallen as undying warriors ?
Putting his Question aside , Mike watched how his minion moved the bed . Sighing Mike canceled the Control . Within the same Moment the skelton disappeared .
This surprised Mike , how pratical ! But as he thought of the power of a minion he could only smile bitterly . Pitiful , just pitiful .
Just as Mike wanted to go to sleep he felt that he didn''t even ate anything since he got transported to the academy today . Wondering where the food appeared to be he fell asleep in his soft and comfortable bed .
