Chapter 292
There was panic in her eyes. She gripped the kitchen door so tightly she could''ve pulled it off. her gaze
dripping with venom. D*mn it. Evander''s going toe after me. He cares about that brat too much not
to.
Olivine had the urge to storm into the kitchen and tear off Angeline''s head, but if she did that. Evander
would only dislike her further. She wouldn''t do that. Not when the wedding was drawing ever nearer. I
have to cover this up somehow. No. I have to do it no matter what.
At the same time, Floretta was on the second floor, excitedly holding Sebastian''s hand. “I have a
present for you. Sebastian. It''s in my room. Here, I''ll take you there.” She then led him to her room.
Olivine saw the kids, and she hatched a n— one that would allow her to get back at Angeline by
putting the kids in danger. Her gaze turned even more menacing at that. Fine. Angeline. You want to
dance? Then I''ll give you a dance you''ll never forget.
Floretta took Sebastian into the room, and the boy stared around curiously. The room was decorated in
pink, and a big bed sat in the middle, surrounded by beautiful dolls.
“Give me a second, Sebastian.” Floretta marched over to her cab and bent over to rummage
through the drawers. A momentter, she whipped out a supersized model race car and dragged it all
the way to Sebastian. A smile curled her lips. "Daddy and I picked this up at the toy store. We were
going to give you this after you got out of the hospital, but Daddy got into a fight with Angel, so we
never had the chance to give this to you. Do you like this?”
Sebastian listened to the girl quietly. He did like the race car, but on his little whiteboard, he wrote:
Mommy said I couldn''t have this.
He... has a mother, huh? “Mommy, huh?” Floretta was a little envious of her friend. “I want my mommy
too. I wonder why she abandoned me.”
Her sadness was not lost on Sebastian. He quickly tugged on her hem.
Floretta rested her cheeks in her hands, a hint of mncholy welling in her eyes. But still, she assured.
“Oh, it''s all right. I''m used to it. I envy you, really. Angel is a good mother, so don''t make her angry.”
Sebastian mused over his reply, and then he wrote: She''s our mommy.
A big smile curled Floretta''s lips, and she patted Sebastian''s head. “Just take the toy. Sebastian. My
daddy''s not good for much, but he''s rich.”
Always eager toin about her father, the girl pouted angrily- “If he had just spent more time with
Angel instead of going to work all the time, Ms. Sherrock wouldn''t have had a chance to date him.”
Olivine had just arrived at the girl''s room holding a tter of fruits, and she overheard the girl''s
comments. Fury red within her soul, and she clenched the tter so hard her knuckles turned white.
Ever since she came to this residence, the girl had never shown her any respect. She''d put on the
victim act in front of everyone and made it look like Olivine was torturing her, though that was not the
case. At least Olivine didn''t think so. She thought the girl was too smart for her age. Sometimes she
wondered where the girl got all the ideas of saboteur from. For a girl her age. she did a great job at
making Olivine suffer.
Olivine gnashed her teeth in anger, but she couldn''t do anything about it, at least not before the
wedding. Once she got married to Evander, she would make the gill''s life a living hell. I can''t wait.

She put on a fake smile and knocked on the door. “Having fun with Sebastian, Floretta? I got you some
fruits.”
The mere sight of Olivine wiped the smile off Floretta''s face, and she shot Olivine a look of annoyance.
“Ms. Sherrock, how many times do I have to tell you not toe into my room?”
Olivine gritted her teeth and held her rage down. Smiling, she said, “Well, we have a little guest here,
so I thought you''d like some fruits.”
“We don''t need it.” Floretta scoffed. “And besides, you''re a witch. We all know7 what witches do to
fruits. I bet they''re poisoned. Angel''s making a cake for us,” she bragged.
Olivine felt humiliated, but she still kept her smile on. “Angeline wanted me to tell you she made some
more snacks. However, she needs someone to bring them.”
“Really?” The mention of snacks easily distracted Floretta.
“Your father is helping her. It''s the truth.” Olivine entered the room and added. “Go. I''ll keep an eye on
Sebastian. I saw the cake too. It''s lovely.”
Floretta was going to drool. She didn''t like Olivine, but it should be fine if she went out for a moment. I''ll
just take the snacks ande back. The girl told Sebastian to have fun and be careful, and then she
left the room.
Once she was gone. Olivine mmed the door shut and heaved a sigh of relief. D*mn that brat. She''s
so hard to distract. Then, she turned her attention to the boy wdio was building the model race car. A
glint of malice glowed in her eyes, and she quickly approached the boy.
With a kick, she sent the model car flying, and its parts scattered everywhere. “You''re just like your
mother. Beggars, both of you.”
Sebastian raised his head, but all he saw was a face contorted by jealousy and rage. Rivulets of sweat
poured down liis back, and he quickly retreated on all fours.
But then Olivine gripped him by his cor and sneered. “Oil, don''t run. Your mother''s a homewTecking
b*tch, and you? You''re no better than her...”
There was only malice and evil in her gaze. If looks could kill, the boy would have died countless times.
However, her words alone were destructive enough for any child, especially special needs children like
Sebastian.
Driven by fear, he mustered all liis courage and. with difficulty, blurted. “No!”
The boy opened liis mouth and chomped down on Olivine''s arm. A stab of pain charged into her head,
and she gasped. “D*nm you!” she cursed. Then, she raised a hand against the boy.
Sebastian stared at her in the eyes, fear already grasping liis heart. His forehead was drenched in
sweat, and liis face wras as pale as a ghost.
Back in the kitchen, Angeline cleared the workstation up, then she ced the cake in the microwave.
She wasn''t in the best of mood, but still, she wanted to show'' some love for the girl. I have to finish this.
Suddenly, the little girl went to the kitchen. “Ooh. Angel.” Smiling, she tilted her head. “Are you making
a cake?”
Angeline turned around and saw'' the girl sniffing the air like a hungry cat trying to feast. The sight of the
girl melted her heart, and she softly said, “Yes. But it''s not lunchtime yet, so w''hat brings you here?”
