“Talk.” Hanson sat up straight and stared at Angeline with his grim eyes.
Angeline didn’t care there were outsiders present and spoke directly.
“First of all, since I’m taking over this matter, I’ll being to thepany frequently in the future. I
hope you will inform your employees ordingly, Mr. Yiurk. I need them to cooperate with me,” she
said.
“Sure. No problem,” Hanson agreed to it right away as he wasn’t surprised by her request.
“Secondly, the Yiurk family and the Sorelle family found Forrester Group when both families were at
their peak. Since no otherpanies have invested in it, I think it’s rather easy to split the shares.”
Hanson frowned and asked, “How much do you want?”
Angeline shed a smile in response. At that moment, everyone was on edge, but she was as cool as
a cucumber. While sitting casually in her seat, she answered, “When my mother was still alive, I think
she held at least sixty percent shares of thepany.”
Hanson’s expression turned solemn when he heard that. In a deep voice, he replied, “That’s hardly
doable.”
With a mocking smile on her face, Angeline held her chin with one hand while tapping the desk
asionally with the other. “Mr. Yiurk, please give me a definitive answer. Forrester Group has been
making a loss all this while. Not only am I helping you save thepany, but I’m also helping you
make more money. At the end of the day, you won’t lose out on anything.”
Hanson kept mum and stared at Angeline in response. No matter how hard he tried, he couldn’t tell
what Angeline was hiding behind that smile of hers. She has truly changed. Back then, during the
school anniversary event, she would feel uneasy the moment she saw a crowd. Now, she’s handling
herself perfectly. What gives her the confidence to negotiate with me in such a manner?
Angeline’s patience was wearing thin because Hanson was still holding his tongue. With a frown, she
uttered in a frustrated tone, “Mr. Yiurk, I don’t mind waiting for your answer, but I’m afraid Forrester
Group doesn’t have the luxury. Judging by how capable you are, I’m sure you’re able to convince your
wife.”
“Okay. I promise you,” Hanson responded in a deep voice. There was a hint of reluctance in his voice
when he added, “If you find the situation hard to deal with, you may leave anytime you want. I won’t
hold you ountable.”
“Thank you for your concern, Mr. Yiurk.” Upon getting the response she wanted, Angeline grabbed her
bag and left the broadcast studio.
She then took the elevator and went down to the second floor to visit the IT department. Nancy was
following closely behind when she praised, “You’re incredible, Angeline! You came for a broadcast
session, but you ended up taking over apany! Even Mr. Yiurk had trouble handling you.”
“I’m taking what’s mine,” Angeline answered softly. At that moment, a hint of hatred shed across her
eyes. Before this, I never made a move because Joseline was a part of the Sorelle family. Now that I
know the truth, I’m going to take back everything the Sorelle family owns! Forrester Group is just the
beginning.
Upon arriving at the IT department, they saw three youngsters sitting in front of theirputers and
trying to figure out what went wrong. Meanwhile, the older employees had coffee and rested.
This department’s carelessness caused the enormous loss suffered by thepany. Yet, they’re acting
as if they’ve done nothing wrong!
Angeline’s expression darkened, and she said sternly, “Please stop whatever you’re doing and gather
here.”
Although the younger employees were confused when they heard that, they still approached her. On
the other hand, the rest of the employees remained seated and looked at her mockingly.
“You’re Angeline, aren’t you? I know you like to boss people around because you’re a celebrity.
However, this isn’t the entertainment industry. You don’t have a say here!” one of themined.
Nancy was having none of it, and she fumed, “What has the entertainment industry done to you? Sir,
did you find out who are the owners of thepany before you applied to work here? From today
onward, Angeline will be temporarily in charge of Forrester Group.”
The man froze momentarily before rolling his eyes in response. “That’s impossible! How could she?”
“Why not?” a man answered.
Momentster, Hanson and Lillian were seen walking in. Hanson had a stern expression when he
asked in a serious tone, “I’ll announce it on her behalf. Are you satisfied?”
The man shuddered when he heard that. Along with the other older employees, they quickly sprung to
their feet and trotted toward Hanson and Angeline.
With an ingratiating smile on his face, the man said, “Hi, Mr. Yiurk. I’m sorry, Ms. Sorelle. I was an
ignorant fool.”
Hanson ignored the man and turned toward Angeline to give her a list of personnel. With a hint of
concern in his eyes, he said, “The employees and IT professionals I’ve transferred from the
headquarters will arrive at Forrester Group tomorrow. I’ve already informed them ordingly, so please
command them as you please.”
“Thank you.” Angeline took the list and flipped through the employees’ files. Hanson seems
professional. He’s very particr about how he selects these employees. This actually helps me a lot.
Hanson nced at her and hesitated before uttering, “Angeline, about what happened thest time
around—”
“What’s the progress in rectifying the error that happened during the event?” Angeline was sizing up
the employees at the scene, and they were all already busy with their work.
This time around, no one dared to undermine her anymore. A young employee approached her and
answered, “We’ve already rectified the error and changed the prices. However, I don’t think we’ll be
able to recoup our losses.”
“Okay.” Angeline expected that to happen. Upon closing the documents in her hands, she nced at
those cunning and older employees. In an icy tone, she said, “Tomorrow, go to the finance department
to receive the wages and pensions that are owed to you guys. After that, you guys will no longer have
toe to work.”
Upon hearing that, the older employees were stumped, and they were overwhelmed with regret.

While staring at Angeline solemnly, Lillian took the initiative and stepped forward. “This way, please,
Ms. Sorelle.”

her chest as her gaze eventuallynded on the photos on the wall. Those were the photos herte

When Angeline arrived in front of the desk, she ran her fair fingers across the desk and noticed how
dusty it was. When was thest time someone cleaned this ce?
Angeline then found a lot of thepany’s documents in one of the folders in the office. Upon flipping
through them, she found one that recorded the projects Forrester Group had taken part in over the past
few years. The losses Forrester Group incurred have been recorded here. Besides, I can even see
where the problems lie. If I want to resurrect Forrester Group, I need to get to the root of the problem.
