The photo was of her when she was in junior high. She was hugging a little boy in the photo. Although
the boy was still very young, she could still tell that the boy was Jacob from his facial features.

in a pce drama together. I identally broke the male lead’s emerald ring. The director caught me

After clearing the misunderstanding, Angeline and Jacob’s interaction became much more natural.
Jacob was good at keeping the conversation going, and Angeline was having a good time. She

here?”
At that moment, a shrill woman’s voice was heard from the entrance.
“I’m really sorry, Ms. Sherrock. You didn’t make a reservation, and a gentleman has reserved the whole

When Angeline heard the familiar voice of the woman, she stopped cutting her steak and looked in the
direction of the reception.
She then saw Olivine standing there with an angry look on her face while arguing with the waiter.

Unable to handle Olivine, the waiter had no choice but to walk over to the both of them. “Ms. Sorelle,
Mr. Zane, may I ask if you have finished eating?”
Jacob’s gaze fell on Angeline.
She then slowed down her action of cutting the steak and slowly put it into her mouth. In a cold tone,
she said, “Tell thedy over there that we won’t be giving up our seats.”
Angeline would not be putting the waiter in such a difficult spot if it were anyone else.

you couldn’t win Evander over, and now you’ve be a sugar baby to a young fellow?”
“Madam, who are you? What nonsense are you talking about?” Jacob looked at her with disgust.
“Did I say anything wrong?” Olivine gritted her teeth when she heard how Jacob addressed her. She
then snorted, “I remember that you’re quite the celebrity. Be careful of this woman. Don’t be fooled by
her appearance.”
Once Olivine finished her sentence, Angeline mmed the fork in her hand onto the table. The sharp
noise came as a shock to Olivine, and she could not help but tremble.
“You’re having quite a night, Ms. Sorelle.”
Without anyone noticing, Evander walked over with a slightly serious face.
When Angeline saw him, she was surprised and subconsciously stood up from her chair.
“Mr. Golding, what brings you here?”
“So you’re allowed to enjoy fine dining, but I’m not?” Evander looked at Jacob and said mockingly, “I
didn’t expect that you would be hooking up with a little boy.”
Silence ensued in the restaurant.
“Instead of focusing on your acting career, you reserved the whole restaurant and came here for a
dinner date. How romantic.” Evander’s voice was not loud, but he was aware that every word he spoke
could be heard clearly.
Angeline lowered her head, feeling embarrassed. “Mr. Golding, you’ve misunderstood. Jacob is the
lead actor in this movie. We just came over for dinner after work, that’s all.”
After all, the only reason she couldnd the role was Evander’s help.
Therefore, she did not want him to misunderstand.
Jacob looked at them with a puzzled expression. He then asked gently, “Angie, are you going to
introduce us?”

“This is the CEO of Golding Group, Evander Golding. You can also say that he is my boss.”

with us.”
“Okay,” Evander agreed. He then signaled to the waiter and said, “Two more steaks, please.”
After that, he resumed his cold expression and sat down next to Angeline calmly with his slender legs
crossed. Evidently, he did not feel out of ce at all.
