“Okay,” she agrees, and I pull her hair so that she is forced to lift her head.


    “Okay?” I ask.


    “Yeah, since you put it like that, okay.” She shrugs and lays her head back down. “Love you,” she says, kissing my chest then snuggling closer.


    “Love you too, baby,” I whisper, closing my eyes and following her off to sleep.
