    I couldn’t drive Jared away because he had Ashton to vouch for him. Besides, Summer had developed


    a dependency on him. Except for Jackson’s suggestion, we had no other way.

    “I understand. I think of Macy’s child as mine, and I love Summer as much as you do.” Jackson smiled

    I nced at her sideways and tidied up my clothes before teasing her. “It seems you still have your


    charm. Your luck in love follows you everywhere.”

    Ashton booked my flight ticket. He also got one for Millie for my protection. Since Emery was traveling
