Introduction: Chazeka Wabli, nicknamed Rage, has a uniquely colored eagle crash into his chest after Chazeka receives a prophecy from his deceased grandmother.  The following day, Chazeka is sold into apprenticeship to a traveling Ironsmith.  Years later, a fight in a market place has Chazeka forcibly enlisted into the Overlord鈥檚 Guard.  Assigned to an undercover mission, Chazeka changes his name to Ista. When the group departs its base, Ista notices a strange tattoo on the wizard鈥檚 wrist as the wizard portals them to the mission鈥檚 starting location.  The wizard鈥檚 duplicity forces Ista to survive against Ogres, savage beasts, bandits and thieves.  During this harrowing time; he also learns about love and living; falling in love with his group leader, 350 years his senior. Mission completed, Chazeka reclaims his name, loses his love and starts on a completely unexpected path.  Yet it was foretold by his grandmother....
