CHAPTER 4: The Vow of a Lifetime
A stinging pain attacked my stomach as I jumped awake. The green-skinned monster glared at me with its yellow eyes.
Blood spewed from my mouth as I started to feel the emptiness in my gut. The goblin smiled.
“Fuc—” A hit to my head interrupted my words. I tried hard to keep my eyes open as a blurry muscular figure walked closer.
As it tried to hit me again with it`s club, I squat to dodge.
But it kicked my chin sending me flying towards the wall.
“Ah ah ah ah” I could barely breath. Tears started to accumulate in my eyes. The last thing I saw was the muscular figure dragging my mother`s body.
I wanted to raise my hand, but I was too weak to do anything.
I passed out again.
For the last time.

My eyes opened, and I tried to move but to no avail.
“S-sbabus” I said. I tasted iron in my mouth, but I ignore it.

I didn`t notice the obvious rise in my stats and quickly put all of my points into CON. A few notifications popped up.

I felt my entire body tense up and become harder. I look at myself and notice that I grew muscles.
I had a bit of flab on my body because I barely exercised, but it`s all gone now.
I didn`t take my time to gawk at my new assets, and immediately activated Enhanced Regeneration to the maximum.
The image of a muscular figure appeared in my mind carrying my mother`s body and I scream at the top of my lungs.
My face darkened. From not being able to save her, to using her as a shield, to losing her body and having it defiled by some rotten goblins.
I`m such a great son, aren`t I?

“Huhahaha” A laugh slipped from my mouth.
“Kakakakakakaka” A maddening laugh. I stopped abruptly and look down at the wound on my stomach.
“It`s all their fault.” I whispered.
“Gahihihihi IT``S THEIR FAULT!!” I scream bitterly, the feelings of anger and hate overtaking my mind and body.
I punch the wall behind me. My fist left a mark in the concrete wall with my enhanced strength.
A red glint flashed in my eyes as I screamed with all I have.
“I WILL MAKE ALL THOSE DAMNED MONSTERS PAY FOR ALL THEY`VE DONE!”
“I WILL MAKE THE ONE WHO FUCKED THIS WORLD UP REGRET!!”
“MARK MY WORDS!! I WILL KILL YOU ALL!!!!!!!!!”
