    Chapter 33: Old Cha, Take Me as your master!


    However, just as he was about to leave, Lorne suddenly tugged onto Kyle’s shirt.


    “Oh right, old friend, I almost forgot to mention this. Remember to prepare at least ten cows the next time youe to my ce and prepare some more money.”


    Kyle was suddenly given such an order and his head was filled with confusion. He waspletely dumbfounded.


    “I can understand the part where you want me to prepare more money, but why should I bring ten cows?”


    Lorne stopped smiling. His expression was very solemn. He patted Kyle’shoulder solemnly.


    “Bring ten cows as a gift to acknowledge me as your master!”


    Kyle was speechless. He was even more confused now. He did not understand what was going on at all.


    “Why would I suddenly want to acknowledge you as my master?”


    Lorne said earnestly, “You see, we’ve known each other for a long time. Every time youe to the tavern, you tend to ask me many questions. You’ve asked me everything, from the pce and the royal family, to themoners and the small streets, and as far as the border fortress.


    “If you keep asking me these kinds of questions, you’ll end up learning everything I have to offer. If that’s the case, you should acknowledge me as your master. Otherwise, I would be at a great disadvantage.”

    Kyle was dumbfounded. This boss was really daring. He actually wanted to be the king’s master after fiddling around for so long. This was too much. He, Kyle, was not naive nor young anymore. Why should he be under a young man!


    “Cough... Cough!”


    “Boss, look at me. I’m not young anymore. If I really acknowledge you as my teacher, wouldn’t I be a joke to others? If you were a few decades older, I would definitely agree to it easily. After all, you are knowledgeable and intelligent. I truly admire that about you.

    Lorne immediately fell into deep thought.

    Kyle did not know how to respond at all. He turned around and red at Rosen and Andrew, they both were trying hard to suppress theirughter. Then, he continued, “How about this? When I have the chance, I will bring my good-for-nothing son here and let you be his teacher. This way, regardless of age or seniority, it will at least make sense.     Kyle said it lightly, but Rosen and Andrew’s hearts jumped when they heard it. The useless son that the king spoke of, was none other than the first prince.


    Holy cr*p! This was a sign that he wanted Lorne to be the Master of the First Prince!


    Being the Master of the First Prince was an extremely important official position. It represented the future king’s assistant minister and could influence the future king’s words and actions.

    Lorne immediately put on a look of realization and could not help but praise his friend, “Old friend, this is as expected of a businessman. You may not be the brightest of the bunch, but when ites to business, you outshine us all!


    “Since you’ve said well, I don’t seem to have any reason to refuse. When you have the time, bring my eldest nephew here. I will take him in as a disciple without any hesitation. I promise to teach him some principles that others would never learn.


    “When the timees, my eldest nephew shall easily inherit your business. I guarantee that he’ll do even better than you. His family business will be even bigger!”


    Lorne looked very pleased with himself, which made Andrew and Rosenpletely dumbfounded.


    In just a few seconds, Lorne even addressed the king’s son as his eldest nephew?


    If the First Prince, Weiss knew about this and found him a new uncle, he would probably squat in the corner and cry from the news.


    The weirdest thing was that Lorne’s age did not seem to be far older than the First Prince, Weiss’s age.


    Now, without even knowing, the First Prince gained a Master that does not have a big age gap. If he knew about this, he would probably throw a fit.


    Kyle could not help but stifle hisughter, but there was arge part of his sincerity in saying all this. This was because Lorne was indeed intelligent and erudite. It was just that people could not help but not look past his age.

    Compared to Lorne, the king was truly a busy man.. He could make a desk from the amount of official government reports he had to deal with every day.
