I wanted to ask father to write me a book on how he created the demons. Sorry my mistake. After the “hey, let’s play” I turned around and searched for mother. I saw her sitting in a chair in the dining room, holding my brother in her arms. She really gave him a lot of love. I wasn’t envious of him because she gave the same love to me from time to time. I was the one who didn’t return it.
“Mom, can you please write me a book on how to create demons.”(Me)
“I will do it later some time. I need to teach your brother how to write, read and speak properly.”(Krysta)
“Hmm, odd. Why does he need to learn that?”(Me)
I thought to myself and looked at him.
“Did you say something, dear?”(Krysta)
“No. Please just don’t forget to write my book.”(Me)
As I thought I was pretty cold with my own mother I turned around, smiled a few seconds and thanked her for making me a book in the future. She looked quite frightened as I did so but assured that she will finish the book in a few days. I also learned that I should not fake my emotions in front of mother because no child would do that and mother saw directly through my lie which explained her shock.Stolen content warning: this tale belongs on Royal Road. Actually I found it odd that my brother couldn’t speak yet. I mean I could speak, write and read from birth. He probably got unlucky or he is just stupid. I don’t know but I was kind of happy to find new information for my book on races. And later I learned that I got some common sense from this and I was the abnormal one. I don’t mind my brother being stupid as long he doesn’t get on my nerves. Please at least not more than father.
The next thing I did was training and exploring again. That was my daily routine. I switched clothes and started running through the forest. I didn’t go further than to the foot of some mountains a few times but in the forest I had no problems navigating till I reached my destination. I knew the forest so good that I would find my way to my destination even with my eyes closed.
As I reached a fairly high mountain I looked up astonished and started to think how to climb it in the future. I noted my thoughts on a piece of paper in order to collect it and put them together in a book. Before going back I ran a few laps through the forest to kill time. After taking a little break I went straight back home and waited for my book to be completed.
I was really nervous. I was always nervous when mother would write me a book containing information I really was interested in. I was predicting how many pages it would have. Which headlines she thought about. How the creating would work. I hoped that I was able to do that creation thing too.
A few days later, when I came home from my running routine, my mother was waiting in the entrance hall and finally gave me my book. After that she smiled at me and went away.
I ran to the library put it on the table and sat down on the chair. I couldn’t wait any longer to read the book with its title…
…magic for beginner?
[Huh. Guess mother made a mistake naming it.]
Or so I thought. But in the next few days the opposite was proven to me
