Vanessa was moved by Rufus''s words. She did not want Rufus to worry about them, so sheforted

"My aunt is gone, but she said we can ask you for help if we have a problem. She said you''re a good

Bonnie said the reason for her nervousness.

Winnie gave her a positive answer.

"Excuse me, Mr. Be, I''m going out to take a call."

"Answer it right here and then we get back to work."

Winnie looked at Brian and then picked up the phone.
"Hello, Winnie Chambers is speaking."
Winnie picked up the phone angrily without looking at the caller ID.
"Officer Chambers, it is me, Officer Lee."

Winnie eased her tone knowing that it was Officer Lee.
"Penny came out this morning. Now she is in the hospital under full examination and temporarily under
the custody of the prison police. She can’tpose threat to you now, but you have to be careful."
Even if there was no danger, Officer Lee had to inform Winnie, so that she could be prepared and take
precautions.
"She was out this morning?”
Winnie asked. Though she had known it, but she now felt uneasy since Penny hade out.
Her aunt was not at home and she had nothing to do with Brian now, if Penney took revenge, she had
to deal with Penny alone.
"Yes, she came out this morning."
Officer Lee repeated.
"Did you contact her family?"
Winnie was uneasy and worried.
"Yes, no one wants to see her. She''s the only one in the hospital now but the police."
"Oh, there''s something else I want to tell you. For your safety, I asked the leader to give you a gun, so
you can protect yourself if necessary. In your current position, if a suspect is a threat to you, you can
shoot after warning fails."
