    "Whoa... It''s cold... Well, It''s the far north, so I guess it''s not that surprising, huh...?" (Lyan)


    Thinking that everyone had fallen asleep, Lyan went ahead outside quietly.


    "I need to admit, the construction of the vige is rather beautiful," Praised Lyan as he look at the view of the vige from the front of the door. "It''s very clean and orderly."


    He looked at the snow-covered roofs and buildings in the vige with interest as he was stunned. There were nomps lit inside the houses at night, but there were small fires burning in the middle of the streets. They were lit by the residents of the vige themselves to lighten up their homes.


    "There are a lot of people residing in this vige too."


    The snow-coverednd that surrounds the vige is full of farms and fields. Well, because of the season, there is no actual corps being nted. But looking at how the vigers share their food with them without showing any restraint, it means that they have more than enough being stored for them to live through the winter.


    "Ah. I got too absorbed in sightseeing. I''m not here for that, didn''t I? Hm..." Lyan scanned through the surroundings and his eyes stopped at a certain distance from the guest house where there are some huge trees still remained despite it being inside the vige.


    "I guess that''s a great spot," (Lyan)


    The reason why Lyan waited until everyone to sleep is because of a certain reason, which is to test his current strength. With his huge ive in his hand, Lyan went to the ce where he saw the forest.


    When he reached the ce, he saw a few huge boulders around. His eyes were fixed on the tree that he saw earlier, and he moved toward it slowly.


    "Hmm... This is good," (Lyan)


    It was not very far from the guest house and the area has a good amount of space for him to move freely.


    "Hm... I wonder which one should I use first... " Lyan thought under his breath as he pondered.


    "I guess I need some visual to make sure I don''t miss anything, *Snap!*" Lyan snapped his fingers, and illusions of his summonable creatures appeared around him. Various monsters and magic beasts started from Pilia the Papilio Slime until Alpha the winter wolf alpha appeared and surrounded him.


    "Hm... I guess the first is Pilia''s power," Lyan uttered as he closed his eyes. The ck summoning grimoire appeared before him as he warms his mana up.


    Slowly, purple-colored mana gathered around him, and a purple wing appeared on his back. But unlike Pilia''s wings, his butterfly wings are rather small.


    "So I was right. I get some part of the summonable creatures'' strength as well..." Lyan uttered as he stared at his hand. He could feel the mana different from his original mana gathered on his hand.


    "But I guess I don''t need the wings, huh," Lyan gets rid of the butterfly wings, and reach his hand to the front.


    Just with his thoughts, some purple particles gathered in front of him. Even though it''s also an illusion mana, the characteristic and the magic it could produce is absolutely different.


    Mana is differentiated by elements, and there is also mana that didn''t have any element on it which is possessed by most humans and beasts that had just evolved into magic beasts due to the consumption of other beasts. But in each individual, whether it''s humans, monsters, magic beasts, or demihumans, their mana differs from each other and has its own unique characteristics. So even though some people possess the same element, their capabilities, their strength, and the magic they produced would differ from each other.


    "Good," Lyan pulled his hand, and the purple mana particles disappeared.


    "Next is Galia''s," Lyan uttered as he reached his hand to the front once again and grasped the thin air. Following his motion, a sphere of wind appeared before him under hismand, but a hint of struggle could be seen on his face as he tried to maintain the size and the density of the sphere.


    "Next is Mon," The next thing that appeared before him is a butterfly made of dark mana. It could be considered as a soul magic as he gathered the remains of the dead animals around him and gathered them into a single shape, folding them into a butterfly-shaped spirit. But the shape only maintain for about three seconds before it dispersed.


    "Mon''s magic could be very useful, but it''s very tricky to use. I need more practice. The next one is the rock golem, I guess," Lyan made a fist, and his arm slowly got covered by rocks, making it bigger.


    "The left will be from the ice golem!" Lyan raise his left hand and made a fist, and just like his right arm, his left arm got covered by powerful and durable ice. Thebination of his giant ice-covered left hand and rock-covered right hand could be useful for a battle of endurance.


    Or so he thought.

    The arms cracked, and the ice and rocks covering his arms crumbled, leaving his bare arms.


    "Ah... I guess using and controlling two mana at the same time will need even more practice, huh..." Lyan uttered as he put his hands on his waist while trying to recount the feeling and the sensation of using the both mana at the same time before.


    "Okay, I could practice them along the way. Let''s try the next one," (Lyan)


    Lyan continued his practice of using the part of mana that he got from his summonable creatures.


    He used the acid ant queen''s acid shootings, used Grimws'' necromancy and dark magic, used Magria''s mana me, used Fia''s nature mana, and used Arcia''s holy mana. After getting satisfied with using their mana, Lyan re-analyzed the experience and the sensation of each mana he used.


    "Hm... Mia''s monster child, the Fey Mammoth, Fia, could bebined with Lia''s monster child, the Arcane Retriever, Arcia''s holy mana. It seems that it could produce a powerful healing attribute. I guess I''ll try using them at the next battle or the next time someone got injured. But damn, I should have used their mana since the beginning," Lyan chuckled as he realized one thing.


    Unlike the mana from the high spirits, the mana he got from the summonable creatures recovered several folds faster in him, making it fine for him to use them asionally.


    It''s true that the high spirits'' mana is high-quality mana that is absolutely strong and a game-changer element. But he doesn''t really like the fact of how it recovers so slowly, and relying on the high spirits and feeling indebted to them is something that he wants to avoid.

As he swing his ive, his eyes turned purple due to the illusion of mana which formed to cast an illusion to any opponent that made contact with his eyes. It''s a strategy to make an opening for his strike, and-

    The boulder got destroyed rather magnificently, and the trace of being burnt could be seen because of his me-covered ive.


    (Setting the timing right is still quite difficult, and it takes too much of my focus that I might miss any sudden approaching presence from the surroundings. I guess minimizing the use of mana types is wiser until I couldpletely master in utilizing them...) (Lyan)


    As Lyan is analyzing his practice, suddenly a sound of pping came from a certain direction.

    Lyan shifted his gaze, and saw that the one who is pping is the person that he just saved before.
