I woke up to strong shaking. Instantly jolted awake I look around and see I am strapped into an escape pod of some kind. I see a window, but what I see through is confuses me. I see what seems to me the horizon of a planet getting closer and closer. After a few minutes, the pod slams into the ground with a sudden jolt. After the dust settles the door opens with a hiss. After that, the strap holding me into the pod dumps me onto the floor. Then, I get up and stumble out of the door. Once outside I realize what is giving me the trouble walking, gravity is weaker! I observe my surroundingsmore and notice that the sky is a disgusting mustered yellow. Finally, I look around and see I am in a clearingwith several other pods with people stumbling out of them as well.


    "Do any of y''all know where we are?" I ask the surrounding people.


    They reply nope, so I ask them what their names are.


    I start by introducing my self," Hello my name is Orion."


    The guy to my right, a big bulky guy, introduceshimself," I''m Simon, and it''s nice to meet y''all.Stolen novel; please report.


    Next, to his left, a man with a cool scar across his face introduceshimself as Peter and finally, the person to my left introduces himself as Scott.


    "So did y''all see any survival kits in your pods?" I ask them.


    "No" they all respond.


    After that, we break up and head back to our respective pods in order to do a more in-depthsearch. When I arrivein my pod and start searching, at first I don''tfind anything. However, after a few minutes, I notice a small handle at the top of the seat. I pull it, and suddenly the seat falls forward. It reveals a sci-fi looking pistol and what appears to be, judging by the red cross, a first-aid kit. After this, I search for a few more minutes and finding nothing, head back outof the pod. After a few minutes of waiting the rest of them have come out too. I look around to see what we all got. Simon has a big ax and a box that says rations on it., Peter has a machete and a bag,"It has hammocks in it." He says. Finally, Scott has a rifle and a second first aid kit.


    "I am a pilot in the U.S.A Air Force so I have training in wilderness survival if you guys could followmy lead?" Scott says.


    While I have some practice in wilderness survival my self, as an Eagle Scout, I haven''t really been trained in it so I go ahead and say yes to him being in charge. Both Simon and Peter agree as well. Scott then leads us into the forest, but right before we get in we hear a growl and seethe most terrifying monstrosity I have ever seen.
