Evolution/Adaptation/Variation


    Evolution works when Qi Beasts reach a certain stage of cultivation and consume certain heavenly treasures related to their bloodlines. Ex a lesser elemental might become either a greater elemental or become a physical being.


    Adaptation is when Qi Beasts spends a long time at a certain stage of cultivation and spends a long period either in a specific type of location or doing a certain activity. Ex gain more elemental affinities or become more specialized such as training the body to have better qi circuits or to become faster/tougher.


    Variation is when a Qi Beast adds a special attribute/affect to their current affinity, usually by consuming heavenly treasures not needed to evolve their bloodline. Ex a Fyre Serpent (which is a Qi Beast of the Fire and Poison attributes who''s venom slowly burns blood, muscle tissue, fat, bones, nerve endings, and qi) could consume a portion of a stunstream to add a paralyzing effect to its venom.
