When Reaver was born he didn''t show any signs of having abilities so his parents thought he was normal and gave him to an orphanage as they only cared if he was an ability user.


    Reaver''s life as a baby went as you might expect as all he did was poop, cry, eat, and sleep.


    For the first 2 years of his life he seemed likea normal child until he started to talk then the people around him noticed he had (Persuasion) the ability to tell others what to do and no one could refuse.


    But people didn''treally worry about it as he was a child and the most he would ask for was a cookie or an extra bedtime story.


    Another 3 years pass and Reaver is 5 years old.


    People have explained to him about his power and that he shouldbe careful when using it and for the most part he did as he was told except for the occasionalcookie.


    But one day a new boy came to the orphanage that started to bully another boy called Jax.This content has been unlawfully taken from Royal Road; report any instances of this story if found elsewhere.


    The bullyhad the ability to turn his skin into metal and would use this to hurt Jax but what the bully didn''tknow was that Jax was Reaver''s only friend.


    So as the bully swings his fist at Jax he hears "Leave him alone and stop bullying others"


    After hearing this the bully''s fist dropped and he walked away as if nothing happened.


    "Thanks for sticking up for me Darius," Jax says giving a weak smile


    "We may not be related but we are brothers nonetheless" Reaver sits next to him.


    "So, why didn''tyou use your Flames to fight back?"


    Jax shrugs his small shoulders "I don''thave control over them and I realized my flame has a poison effect to it so I definitely would have killed him"


    "I still don''tknow what my other 2 abilities are, do you?"


    "Yeh, I found out one of them"


    "Well don''t keep me in suspense, tell me," Reaver says while getting all excited


    "My 2nd ability is (Regeneration) the ability to heal quickly"


    "Wow, that''s awesome you were complaining that your flames hurt your hands but now you don''thave to worry anymore," Reaver says still smiling.


    "Yeh it will be good for your future, anyway let us go back inside"
