Saskia knew how hard Holden worked and how capable he was.

was ready to leave everything to her, turning Holden into the elephant in the room.

Unaware that she was being targeted, Brittany finished her chat with Ysabel. It was past nine in the
evening.
Isaac was waiting outside.
Before leaving, Ysabel couldn’t help but express her concern. “Now that the Ltes have announced
they’re giving everything to you, everyone’s talking. Be careful.”
Feuds in high society are often bloodless battles, and Ysabel was worried that Brittany, inherently
naive, would be harmed.
Brittany reassured her, “Ysabel, I can take care of myself.”
“It’s strange that the Ltes are doing this. If they really wanted to give you everything, why not just
write a will? Why announce it publicly?”
Ysabel sensed that Yuri had ulterior motives.
Brittany couldn’t figure it out either but didn’t dwell on it. “Ysabel, don’t worry about me.”
Once Ysabel left, Brittany approached Isaac. “How long have you been here?”
“About half an hour,” Isaac replied truthfully. “You seemed to be enjoying your conversation with your
friend, so I didn’t want to interrupt.”
Brittany felt sorry for him, sensing the chill in his body, and ushered him into the car. “Next time, tell me
in advance, or wait in the car.”

could even feel the dampness clinging to him.
Isaac turned on the heater. “I just wanted to see you sooner.”

“The branch office ns are underway, and if all goes well, we’ll start scouting locations in a few days.”
Isaac was serious about expanding, and Brittany was impressed by his swift action.

“Noel has been doing well for years. It’s time for him to return to Grandeur Capital.”
