William found himself in the midst of a crowd, being approached by countless individuals.

Brittany made her way to the bar, fetching a ss of champagne. She blended into the crowd, leisurely

been treated like that?
Ca looked at him, who was still defending Brittany. Her eyes were filled with hurt. “William, don’t
forget that I’m your wife. You’re flirting with Brittany in front of everyone. Have you considered how I
feel?”
William had reached his limit. His lips pressed into a thin line, “Ca, this is someone else’s
engagement party. Don’t cause a scene.”
“What’s wrong with it being an engagement party?” Ca was already feeling unbnced. Why was it

She blurted out, “So because it’s an engagement party, you two can flirt? Don’t forget, Brittany is no

William’s temples throbbed. He nced at the curious onlookers, feeling as if he was back to the night
