    After breakfast, they apanied Daniel to school.


    Just as they reached the kindergarten, Brittany helped Daniel out of the car. Daniel spotted a familiar


    vehicle and pointed. “Abby…”


    “Shush, Daniel.” Brittany quickly covered his mouth.


    Isaac was still there.


    If he knew that Vi was Abby’s mom, wouldn’t that mean Wesley would find out too?


    Daniel looked bewildered.


    “This is a public ce; we can’t make a ruckus.” Brittany whispered as she released her hand.


    Daniel seemed to understand and nodded.


    At that moment, the ck car parked, and Vi got out with Abby.


    Brittany nervously signaled to her, but Vi misunderstood. She walked over with Abby and asked,


    “Bri, what’s up with your eyes?”


    “Isaac’s here.” Brittany informed her anxiously.


    Vi seemed flustered for a moment but quickly regained herposure. “No worries. I was ready to


    be discovered when I decided to bring my kid back to Imperial City.”


    Daniel walked away with Abby. After bidding Brittany goodbye, Vi left too, without giving Isaac a


    single nce.


    After Vi left, Isaac turned to Brittany, his eyes filled with confusion. “Is that Vi’s daughter?”


    Brittany couldn’t respond.


    Isaac seemed to have figured something out. While resting one hand on the steering wheel, he asked,


    “Is the kid Wesley’s?”


    “The kid has nothing to do with him.” Brittany cut him off. “Isaac, stay out of this. Vi is married now.”


    Wesley couldn’t give Vi the future she desired. She had a family now, and her child was epted.


    She didn’t want to stir up unnecessary trouble.


    Brittany’s firm stance made Isaac realize that his guess was right. He opened the car door. “Let me


    drive you to your studio.”


    “No need.” Brittany shook her head. Without Daniel around, she didn’t want any contact with Isaac. She


    turned and walked away.


    Isaac leaned back in his seat. After a moment, he dialed Nathan’s number. “Look into Vi’s life these


    past few years; the more detailed, the better.”


    Nathan was confused but agreed nheless.


    Brittany didn’t expect that Isaac would discover the rtionship between Vi and Abby. She was


    somewhat worried.


    On her way to the studio, she received a call from Vi. “Bri, don’t interfere. Wesley’s alreadye


    knocking.”

    on the couch with a grim expression.


    “Vi!” Wesley shouted.


    All these years, Vi had hidden from him that she had a daughter. She even married another man


    and started a family with his kid.


    Wesley felt deeply hurt. He had never felt such humiliation in his life, and it was all thanks to Vi. He


    didn’t even dare to fight back.


    Vi didn’t understand why he was so mad. “Wesley, the child is mine. I didn’t ask you to take


    responsibility, nor have I threatened you with this. Why are you so angry?”


    “Vi!” Wesley was livid. “That’s my daughter, and she’s calling another man Dad. You’re asking me


    why I’m mad?!”


    Wesley was so furious that he had a headache. After a while, he put his hands on his hips. “Divorce


    him immediately. I’ll talk to my family. I can agree if you want to get married or engaged.”
