    Patrina was pressurized to drink and her cheeks were flushed bright red.


    The guy started to get handsy with Brittany. But little did he know Brittany was ready for him, she


    kicked him in the leg. The man let go out of pain, while Brittany seized the opportunity to dash out the


    door and mmed it shut.


    Immediately, there were sounds of frustrated yelling and a loud bang from the room.


    Brittany locked the door, straightened her dress, and was about to head downstairs when she caught


    sight of a man. The man was tall and wore a mask, covering half his face leaving only his eyes visible.


    “Who are you?” Brittany asked.


    Thest thing Brittany expected at such a critical time was a stranger. Where did hee from? She


    clutched the doorknob instinctively. Did he see what just happened?


    Isaac was d he was wearing a mask. Seeing the panic on Brittany’s face, he shifted his


    gaze.


    “Sorry, I’m just passing by,” he said.


    He went upstairs without giving Brittany another look.


    Relieved that he didn’t meddle, Brittany picked up her skirt and headed towards the ballroom.


    After Isaac went upstairs, Wesley was waiting for him. “Why did you agree to attend the banquet


    again?” he asked.


    Wesley was puzzled seeing Isaac wearing a mask.


    Isaac went over to the window and looked at the open garden outside the mansion without


    saying a word.


    The guests had almost all arrived in the banquet hall. It was almost time for the ceremony, but Patrina


    was nowhere to be seen.


    Mr. and Mrs. Dustin tried calling her but couldn’t get through.


    Brittany came downstairs, and seeing all of this, she was filled with anticipation, curious about how the


    engagement ceremony would proceed.


    The start time had passed and Patrina was still not there. Robert couldn’t sit still anymore, so he sent a


    ser vant to look for her, but the ser vant never came back..


    Finn couldn’t sit still either, so he got up and went upstairs.


    Mr. and Mrs. Dustin, fearing something had happened, followed him. Seeing this, the other guests also

    Hannah saw that Brittany had returned. “Where’s Patrina?” she asked.

    Robert was livid. What was supposed to be a perfect wedding was ruined, and he charged at Brittany.
