"Wait... What?... Where are my other sub-skills?" Raydon eximed, experiencing a simr shock of item loss but now with his sub-skills.
Even though it was nice to have sub-skills for all of his stats rather than just spirit and stamina, losing his other super-powerful and helpful sub-skills was even more disheartening for him than losing all of his items.
"Why do I always have to lose something when I gain something? Life isn''t fair at all," Raydon muttered in frustration, falling to his knees once again.
In the life he had before, every time he aplished something, he paid the price by giving up something in exchange for what he gained afterward. However, that life was just a simtion, and the fact that he was reliving the same experiences now irritated him.
''''What happened now? '''' Samuen asked, massaging his temples as he looked at him in this state once more. He believed that simr to the previous time, Raydon had most likely sacrificed something but obtained something incredible in exchange.
Raydon opened his mouth to respond but hesitated, realizing that there was nothing they could do to solve this predicament. Moreover, he believed that due to the uniqueness of his title, their knowledge would likely be insufficient to understand the situation.
Raydon gathered himself and started to think. ''Okay, just because I lost my sub-skills does not mean that I can''t regain them. ''<novelsnext></novelsnext>
ording to his title description, he would gain new sub-skills as his stat points reached certain thresholds. In the past, he was able to acquire a sub-skill for every 10-point increase in a stat that he earned through his title.
''It seems that the sub-skills I currently possess for each skill are basic. I wonder if I can still gain a sub-skill for every 10 stat point increase, '' Raydon contemted.
Raydon had doubts about the potential impact of his high race status on the number of free stat points he would receive upon leveling up. However, as an E-Rank, he now had the advantage of receiving 4 stat points instead of the usual 2. This increased allocation of stat points would allow him the freedom to distribute them ording to his own preferences, enabling him to level up swiftly and umte stat points at a rapid pace.
The more that Raydon contemted it, the more he started to feel relieved when he began to think that this situation was actually better than what it had been.
After that, he looked up at Samuen and inquired as he examined one more detail of the title description that had caught his attention. ''''What does origin stat mean? ''''
''''Origin stat? '''' Samuen was taken aback when he heard this question while he waited for another question that would blow his mind.
''''I do not have extensive knowledge on this; however, ording to what I have heard and the rumors that are circting, origin stats are the innate stats that item holders possess independently of the system. These stats are usually connected to their titles in some way. '''' Samuen paused briefly, deep in thought, before continuing.
''''The diary we discovered about your past states that after the Observer arrived in their world, everyone lost ess to the system, and as a result, their powers gradually diminished over time. My spection is that, in addition to the system, they might have also lost their stat points. ''''
Raydon delved into deep contemtion upon hearing this exnation. Some time ago, while he was using the training formation on the training ground, the formation was unable to detect the increased stats that came with his title. As a result, he was forced to restrict his own stats.
He also clearly understood what Samuen meant by the example he gave from the diary.
''''So, does that mean the stats gained through the system are merely borrowed power? '''' Raydon inquired, seeking confirmation.
Samuen''s countenance fell as he responded, ''''I can''t say for certain, but the evidence we have unfortunately points in that direction. ''''
Nobody had any idea about the system''s real history or the mysteries thaty behind it. However, they were aware that the system presented them with numerous challenges and opportunities to acquire various powers. epting the notion that these powers were merely temporary and borrowed proved difficult. It would be intolerable for them to have the fear that they would one day lose the strength that they hadbored so hard to achieve.
''Well, at least I won''t have to worry about having my power taken away in the future. '' Raydon took some time to think about the information. If Samuen''s hypothesis about the origin stats were correct, it would imply that his powers did not originate from a temporary source or were borrowed.
Raydon''s mind drifted back to the Trial of Gods, where he had encountered the enigmatic individuals who proimed themselves as the creators of the system that everyone typically possessed. In addition to this, and in ordance with what they had said previously, Raydon had by this point undergone awakening and had acquired the original system.
''Ahh, this is confusing. I''ll tackle it when the timees.'' Raydon thought, rising to his feet once more.
He had no idea what this entire system was or who those people were, but in the future, when he had sufficient power, he could kick their asses and force them to tell him the truth.
