    Folding the parchment back to its original unread condition, the Eldest nodded; answering to nobody, really. Father was gone. Who knew when he''d return? Given his nature, he almost certainly will return, be it in a hundred years or a thousand years. But could she keep things afloat during that time?

    But the Eldest then heard a loud, obnoxious sound. Not from the message, mind you. Hell, this sound wasn''t even present in her home. Rather, the sound came from above. She then knew that this sound was almost directly over the entryway to her world. Somebody was knocking on the front door, but using a hammer instead of their fist.


    She wanted to be angry, but she couldn''t help but smile instead. Aha! Father hadn''t left the gift here, but elsewhere. She gathered the pieces of what she was to do. She clapped her hands, summoning her other five siblings to face her. She laughed wickedly.
