Chapter 71: Killing Curtis (a)
<The three-headed snake has swallowed several members of the serpent devils. They are not able to endure the pressure acting on them. Their bones are getting crushed by the pressure emitted by the three-headed snake. They have suffered a miserable death. The snake has absorbed their life force to grow bigger! It’s moving out to hunt the ones running away!!>

A few minutester, once the undead ve and the three-headed golden snake ended up killing all of the men in ck, reducing the number of Curtis’s loyal followers to zero, several notifications popped up in Elliot’s mind, telling him that his undead ve has be more powerful than they were ever before.
“That’s pretty good,” he said under his breath, reverse summoning all of his undead ves except for Undead ve C andmanding the three-headed snake toe back to him.
Once the three-headed snake came up to him, it turned into more than a thousand specks of golden light, each representing one unit of the essence of life.
He took a deep breath, swallowing all of them into his body through the mouth, gaining more than a thousand units of the essence of life.

After swallowing the essence of life, he turned towards Curtis, removing the tape from his face, saying the following words while doing that, “So where were we? Oh, yeah, I was about to shatter your 109th bone and smash it till it turns into fine dust!”
He exposed a sadistic smile to him, scaring the shit out of Curtis, literally!
Curtis pissed and shit his pant, causing a nauseating stench to permeate the surroundings.
“You! Just who the hell are you? Why are you so strong when you’re only a mere magician in the magical realm. And why isn’t my ability working on you?!” Curtis said while trembling from head to toe,
“Do you think I don’t know why you’re asking me this question? I know that the serpentine devil, a cmity-grade monster, has blessed you. And also the fact that you’re a low-ranking devil apostle and can instantaneously transmit any information to another low-ranking devil apostle. You’re just trying to get a clue about me from my words so that the serpentine devils can average your death. Isn’t that right?”
“Y-You! How do you know about that! This secret is something only regted inside the serpentine devils, and no outsider can know about it. The effect of the serpentine devil’s blessing isn’t even revealed to any member below the rank of apostle! So, how can you know about it?!”
“Why should I tell you? I have no obligation to answer your curiosity!” Elliot said with a smile on his face, wrapping a golden tentacle around Curtis’s waist, binding him tightly to immobilize him. Immediately after, he started to continue shattering his bones from where he left off, crushing them to fine dust.
Curtis couldn’tmit suicide, and his overpowering stamina and vitality kept him alive and awake throughout the torture session.
“Please let me live! I have a lot of treasure on myself, each worth a fortune. I’ve tens of thousands of magic coins, and also jewelry and other stuff in my storage device! I am a low-ranking Apostle of the serpentine devils. Thus, I also know of the ce where we hid the things we looted from others! I can tell you about it as long as you let me live!” Curtis begged Elliot to let him live after he shattered his pelvic bone. He spoke, not using his mouth, but by using magic energy.
“No! What’s yours will be mine after I kill you, anyway, and I am not interested in walking into a trap!” Elliot said, outright refusing him.
“My storage device is protected by the two-step verification method. If I die, you would never be able to unlock it. And let me tell you, you won’t be able to beat the password out of my mouth!”
Elliot knew what Curtis was talking about as he wasn’t ignorant about such things.
The two-step verification binds the storage device to oneself. Binding works in the same way as a smartphone screen lock. It adds an extrayer to one’s storage device, making it impossible for someone else except for the owner to ess the storage.
In simpler words, Curtis was trying to say that except for him, no one else will be able to ess his spatial storage device.
However, he forgot that human greed knows no bounds, and thieves would alwayse up with a method to open any lock.
“Dumbass! It seems like you’ve never heard about the term Broker! I will just go to the ck market, hire one of them, and pay them to hack open your spatial storage device!” Elliot said,nding a few more punches on Curtis’s body, shattering all of his limbs.
Brokers are people engaging in illegal trades, and they had enough skill to hack into the spatial storage device bound to a person, dead or alive, and they were able to unlock it. They just needed time to do so.
They just needed time and a payment worthy of their effort to do so.
Elliot had both, so he didn’t mind hiring them.
