"Damn it!" Kailee rubbed her temples, clearly irritated.
She had just returned from a trip and had been trying to get in touch with L, but to no avail. She
couldn''t help but feel a bit agitated.
Just as she was plotting her next move, her phone lit up.
She picked it up and saw a message from Laney''s attending physician. "Laney gave birth to a girl.
She and the baby are doing just fine."

There were two people in the photo. The one on the left was Garrett, who had lied that he was
going on a business trip. He was sound asleep in a bed with his clothespletely ruffled. The
woman on the right was Kailee, scantily dressed and flushed.
