    The state preceptor raised his hand and retrieved the painting with his spiritual force. He then rolled it up as he walked and handed it over to her. “Why did the First Miss of the Shen Familye all the way to Jin Hall?” he asked.


    Feng Tian looked at the scroll painting that had been handed to her. She then raised her head and looked cautiously at the handsome state preceptor. She couldn’t decide whether to ept the painting or not. He was calling her the First Miss of Shen Family, not Miss Feng.


    “The Second Miss of Shen Family has been here before. Through the crystal ball, she saw what the First Miss came to look like after you were resurrected.” The state preceptor’s hand was still reaching out as he told her how Shen Yunya came looking for him as if it was not a big deal.


    Feng Tian was flooded with curiosity towards that painting. After thinking for a moment, she reached out and grabbed it. “Since the state preceptor saw that, why did she still not know about my identity?”


    The state preceptor was so positive. Besides, he didn’t seem surprised at her arrival. The state preceptor was really capable. She couldn’t help but put up her guard against him.

    “After Crown Prince Jin came to Jin Hall, his temperament changedpletely. I wanted to know if he found something out during his trip here,” she replied.


    After looking at the position of the chess piece Feng Tian had ced, the state preceptor raised his head and nced at her while holding a white piece in his hand. “To know something, one needs to be sincere. Even I don’t know what the Crown Prince saw.”


    After saying that, he decided where to put his chess piece. He then ced the white piece in his hand onto the board.


    Feng Tian realized that the situation had been reversed. Her ck pieces were now under attack. She had to sacrifice one piece to save another. However, both pieces were very important to her. No matter which piece she chose to sacrifice, she would still end up being defeated.


    “One must lose something to gain something. Miss Feng must not worry too much about gains and losses.” The state preceptor gave her some advice when he saw her hesitating.
