“Nansheng, I will take my leave now.” Feng Tian frowned slightly. She tapped her toes gently. She was in the air in a sh andnded on the zed tiles. Her movement was like a swallow as she disappeared into the distance. Azurite followed right behind her.
The Beiqi Emperor raised his head and looked in her direction. He only saw Feng Tian’s white dress fluttering in the wind. The figure that was floating away from him through the air made him feel like he was watching the goddess, Chang’er, fly to the moon. He felt extremely upset, not knowing how to make her stay.
After seeing him like that, Gu Nansheng frowned and bowed slightly. “Take care, Father.” After that, she turned around and returned to her residential pce.
If she knew that her father would be interested in Feng Tian, she wouldn’t have brought her into the pce. Tian must have felt disgusted. Even she felt embarrassed at her father’s actions.
The guards in the pce were like decorations to Feng Tian. She was out of the pce and on the streets in just a short moment.
Wu Yuan who had been about to enter the pce saw Feng Tian leaving the pce in such a mboyant manner. He was quite surprised and couldn’t help bute forward to ask her, “Miss Feng, is there anything wrong?”
“Nothing.” Miss Feng nced at him without any expression on her face.
Wu Yuan looked at her, then at the nearby pce gate. No imperial guards were chasing after her. He nodded.
Feng Tian didn’t bother conversing with him. She took Azurite with her and left as if he had been an unimportant stranger.
Wu Yuan watched Feng Tian’s disappearing figure with a slight disappointment and dropped his head. He felt like he had that afternoon when she had given him the pill and then left.
She didn’t remember who he was and would probably never remember at all.
“That is Feng Tian?” Wu Qi, who was beside him, was staring after Feng Tian. He regained his senses after being momentarily dumbstruck. That glimpse of her just now was really a surprise.
From the bordering towns to the capital city, this was Wu Yuan’s first time in a month seeing her in woman’s clothing. Although he knew she was a woman long ago, he never expected her to look so pretty in woman’s clothing.
Wu Yuan let out a deep “uh-huh” as he raised his head and gave Wu Qi a warning look.
“She’s alright. She is still no match for the princess.” Wu Qi tugged the corner of his mouth and said to Wu Yuan, “How about you marry Feng Tian and I marry the princess. This way, I won’t fight with you over Evanesce City anymore.”
Feng Tian was indeed beautiful, but she was not his cup of tea. He preferred someone like Gu Nansheng. He wasn’t going to give up on her just because someone else was more beautiful.
