<h4>Chapter 93: Repudiate Xu Jiayi and Incapacitate Feng Xiuyu</h4>


    Even if she wanted the treasure, she couldn’t trade her own daughter’s life for it. After all, her daughter was the apple of her eye. At least, for the time being. Who knew what could happen in the future?


    “So, Feng Xiuyu is your daughter, but Tian isn’t?” Luo Yunzhu mockingly reminded Feng Xiang, “You tried to kill Tian several times, remember?”


    Whatever Feng Xiang said sounded like a joke to Luo Yunzhu. What did he mean by ‘never mind what happened in the past’? They were the ones bullying Tian, so if they weren’t held ountable, that would be to their own benefit, not Tian’s. Tian was supposed to be the Third Prince’s fiancée, but Feng Xiuyu had shamelessly snatched him away along with the Heavenly Phoenix Court. These all belonged to Tian, so it was only right for her to take them back. Besides, why wasn’t there any talk about how sisters should love one another when Feng Xiuyu was trying to kill Tian? Now they wanted to talk about it?


    “You’re thick-skinned enough to say something like that, so I feel embarrassed for you,” Luo Yunzhu spoke to Feng Xiang without any politeness. She had never seen anybody more coarse or shameless than Feng Xiang and his family.


    Feng Xiang red angrily at Luo Yunzhu. “This is my family’s business, and outsiders should not interfere. You must be the one who taught Tian to be rebellious. Stay away from her from now on.”


    Feng Tian reached out and pulled Luo Yunzhu back tofort her, then she said to Feng Xiang, “If you want the token, then you have to do a few things before I give it to you.”


    “Tell me what you want. As long as it’s within my means, your father will get it done,” Feng Xiang replied quickly. Once he got his hands on the treasure, he could rise to the top. Who cared if he wasn’t able to increase his skill level anymore!


    “Repudiate Xu Jiayi, incapacitate Feng Xiuyu, then make a public announcement that Feng Xiuyu will never be allowed to marry the Third Prince.”


    Feng Xiang went silent for a while. He did not promise her but did not refuse either. He was considering which decision would be the most beneficial for him.


    “Father, I must marry Big brother Rong!” Feng Xiuyu quickly interjected as she looked at Feng Xiang. She liked Big brother Rong so much, and she would absolutely not marry anyone else.


    Xu Jiayi frowned at Feng Xiang, then said in a serious voice, “My beloved husband.”


    After hearing Xu Jiayi’s voice, Feng Xiang did not hesitate any longer, and he refused Feng Tian, “That is not possible.”


    After refusing her, he realized that Feng Tian’s face had grown colder. He felt that, perhaps, his attitude was too harsh and tried to tone it down. “Jiayi is your mother, while Yu’er is your sister. Even if they’ve not been the nicest to you, you could still be more patient and understanding. Don’t be so maniptive. As long as you give me the token, I will still love you like before—love you as my daughter.”


    Xu Jiayi was no simple character, and Feng Xiang would not have married a woman who was useless to his ns. Yu’er was now useless, but once Pei’er came back, she could restore Yu’er’s cinnabar field. Third Prince was still the best candidate for a puppet emperor. None of Tian’s requests were eptable. At least, not for now.

    Feng Tianughed after hearing Feng Xiang’s answer. It was so funny! It was the most ridiculous thing she had heard in her entire life. Xu Jiayi and Feng Xiuyu wanted to kill her, and he considered that ‘not being the nicest’? They were after her life itself, and she was supposed to be more understanding?


    As for treating her like a daughter—that was the most hrious of all. The best he could offer her was to treat her as a daughter, as if she weren’t already his offspring! How hrious!


    “So, what do you think?” Feng Xiang saw that she was smiling and thought that she was moved by what he said. He added, “I’ll treat you well. Better than Yu’er, even.”


    This was really the most he could offer because, deep down, he hated Feng Tian for existing. As long as she remained alive, the Feng n would never be his.
