    "Wait, don''t leave yet—" Garrett reached for her hand and tried to stop her.


    Laney shook off his hand and shouted, "Get away from me!"

    mission was called off. Your boyfriend talked to the Burke family himself and asked them to let you


    go, so they did. Didn''t you know that?"
