Fast forward onto the present, a new generation of warriors called Demonslayers maintain the peace in the land. Rumor has it that a cult aiming for the release of Balthomel is on the move. Simon Helmbarte, unconscious after a horde of demons attacked their village, awoke to a mysterious young girl named Shera letting him rest on her lap. Shera happens to be a spirit with no memories except her name wandering the forest. Simon and Shera enter a spiritual pact after he promises to help her regain her memories. In return, Shera grants Simon the power needed to slay demons and avenge the death of his village....
