    “Sure. If you need everything done fast, I can slot you in for a few tests today. You can bring the results


    to me tomorrow,” the doctor suggested, to which Wanda agreed. That would save her some time


    tomorrow.


    Not long after, she exited the doctor’s office with the receipts but was taken aback to find Tessa and


    Nichs out there. Overcame with embarrassment, she asked, “Did you overhear everything?”


    Tessa looked at Wanda’s pale face and nodded. Out of courtesy, she asked, “Are you okay?”


    “Do I look okay?” Wanda’s tone was a little hostile. She soon regretted her outburst when Nichs


    frowned at her. Noticing that, she gritted her teeth and apologized, “Sorry. I was in a bad mood.”


    Indeed, she was in a foul mood as she felt like she had lost to Tessa. She cast a nce at the man


    indignantly. Had it not been for Tessa, the gentle Nichs would have been hers, but it was toote.


    Although he could not read Wanda’s mind, he felt her gaze on him and kept a frosty expression. To


    him, she was a woman of no importance.


    Her face paled even further when she noticed his indifference. She decided to leave before her


    emotions got to her. “I have something to attend to. Goodbye.”


    Tessa and Nichs exchanged nces when Wanda left. Truthfully, Tessa was in disbelief when she


    found out that Wanda did not want the child. However, they were not in a position to judge her as an


    outsider.


    “Forget about it. It’s not our business. Let her worry about it,” heforted Tessa while wrapping her in


    a hug, after which she nodded gently.


    Suddenly, a nurse called them into the doctor’s office for a checkup. When it was done, the doctor


    frowned and touched her abdomen hesitantly.


    His actions did not escape her notice and worried her. “Doctor, is there something wrong with my


    baby?”

    “The baby’s fine, but you have a fetal malposition here,” the doctor announced the bad news with a


    somber expression. Tessa’s face instantly paled as she questioned nervously, “Will this affect the


    baby?”


    “No, it won’t, but if you opt for natural childbirth, you might experience obstructedbor.” The doctor had


    wanted to ease her worries, but his exnation frightened her even more.


    She gasped. “Obstructedbor?” She instantly.

    so he went up to hold her hands andfort her. “Don’t worry. I’ll be by your side.


    The doctor noticed their anxious looks and realized that he had scared the couple. He advised them,


    “Miss Reinhart and President Sawyer, don’t you worry. There is a chance of obstructedbor, but with


    the advanced technology in medicine, you can opt for a C- section. Plus, the baby’s still far from due.


    There’s a chance at correcting the position.”


    “How do I do that?” she quickly asked for some tips. A C-section would be easier, but she heard that


    kids from natural childbirth grew up healthier. Of course, she wanted the best for her child.


    Nichs stared at the doctor and asked sternly, “Any methods?”


    “Miss Reinhart, you should move around more if you have the time. Some pregnant mothers corrected


    the malposition through exercises.”


    She heaved a sigh of relief after learning that the malposition could be corrected, yet Nichs


    remained a little worried and bombarded the doctor with a lot of questions.
