Chapter 926 Stay On Your Toes


    “It was alright since most of those asions felt the same to me. It was rather boring,” Nichs replied impassively. Even so, Tessa could feel that something was off. “Did something happen?” she asked concernedly.


    After giving it some thought, Nichs decided not to hide it from her and revealed to her about everything that Eunice had done. The revtion had left Tessa bbergasted, especially that part when Nichs purposely nned to make Tessa fall into the pool. However, she thought that Eunice had brought it upon herself.


    “I never thought that Eunice is someone that shameless.” She frowned displeasedly.


    Seeing her angry made himugh. “Alright, let’s not get angry over people like her.” He then hugged Tessa in her arms as he exined to her. “The reason why I’m telling you this is because I hope that you will remain alert toward the people around you. Since I won’t be staying over here for long, I won’t be able to turn up on time to protect you every time you’re in danger.”


    “Okay, got it. I will be more careful in the future.” She nodded slightly.


    After both of them chatted for a while, they got down from the bed and went to wash up, as it was about time that Tessa headed out for her orchestra training. Soon, the whole family sat down together to have breakfast, and right after that. Tessa brought Gregory to the orchestra.


    She never thought that she would bump into Eunice upon entering the orchestra. Perhaps it was because Eunice had fallen into the waterst night; she looked a little haggard today.


    Noticing that, a lot of the orchestra members went up to her and asked her concernedly, “Miss Eunice, are you not feeling well? Why does your face look so pale?”


    “Miss Eunice, why not take a day off today since your health shoulde first.”


    “Miss Eunice, do you need to go to the hospital? I can send you there in my car.”


    Eunice smiled when she saw how everyone was concerned about her. “Thank you all for your concern. I’m fine, so all of you should go attend your training.”


    Hearing that, all of them left for their training obediently. Tessa narrowed her gaze when she saw that Eunice was about to leave.


    Suddenly, she lowered her gaze to look at Gregory and told him, “Go wait for Mommy in the training room. Mommy has something to discuss with Miss Eunice.” She didn’t want Gregory to be there as she didn’t want to taint her child’s pure heart. However, her intention was unknown to Gregory, and he nodded before leaving. When Tessa saw that Gegot had disappeared into the corridor, she sighed and went after Eunice.Contentt bel0ngs to N0ve/lDra/ma.O(r)g!


    “Eunice, hold on.”


    “Tessa, what is it?” Eunice’s eyes lit up when she noticed Tessaing over. Eunice seemed interested to know what Tessa was going to ask her and, at the same time, had her guard up against Tessa.


    Tessa ignored Eunice’s expression and pretended to be concerned. “Eunice, I heard that you fell into the poolst night. Are you alright?”


    Hearing that made Eunice’s expression grim. She narrowed her gaze when she stared at Tessa as she wasn’t sure whether Tessa was concerned about her or it was something else.


    Tessa had naturally noticed her curious gaze, but she pretended to act dumb, “Eunice, why are you staring at me?”


    “Nothing. I just think that you looked good today.” Eunice looked away as she answered simply.


    “Eunice, you don’t seem good. Did you catch a cold or something? Do you need me to send you to the hospital?” Tessa nodded and asked again.


    Eunice’s eyes lit up when she saw how earnest Tessa was. She thought that she herself might have been too sensitive about it as Tessa seemed to be genuinely concerned about her and didn’t have any ill intentions. However, she felt that Tessa’s reaction was rather odd.


    If Tessa knew that she had fallen into the pool, why would Tessa speak to her politely? Could it be that Nichs didn’t tell her about what happenedst night?


    Given the situation, Eunice thought it was possible and instantly felt relieved. She smiled and replied to Tessa, “I have probably caught a cold and will be better after taking some medication. Thank you for your concern.”
