Chapter 1 - Strange fruit

Within the abyss, a deafening rumble could be heard when a tiny shadow staggered through the darkness like a lost soul trying to find inner peace
“Damn it, why is this place so dark, and why is there no food!” weakly sobbed Flint but yet no tears would fall because he was dehydrated. If anybody saw Flint like a pitiful and hungry beggar, the entire world would astonished
Truthfully, before Flint ran away from home, he was one of the young masters of the Stewart Clan, It was 1 of the 8 Guardian powers belonging to the Peace Union, although It was ranked 7th.
Nethertheless, It was one of the most influential authorities in the world!
5 years ago, a strange meteor descended down to the world like a crazy torpedo.Ever since then, strange phenomenon frequently occurred, from earthquakes that lasted for days to typhoons that shook the heavens and earth
He escaped to a poor village far away from his home by sneaking inside a ship. Luckily, he was fortunate enough to meet a kind old man that was willing to take him in, although Flint, of course, had to do chores and work for the elderly. One day,though like any ordinary day, he was carrying water from the well and out of nowhere an earthquake arised,a small ravine was formed and Flint fell in.
“F**k, why is there nobody here, why is it me that gets stuck in this situation, why why why!” Flint howled, feeling aggrieved. But as he became more morbid as time flowed like a river, he heard a sudden and distinguishable noise.If you spot this narrative on Amazon, know that it has been stolen. Report the violation.
At first, he was filled with joy but when he arrived closer to the noise, he observed that it wasn’t a voice made by man but beast
“ROOOAR”
A brown,hideous lizard descended down the ravine violently and the ground shook convulsively. The scales on its body was robust and potent and its mighty roars could cause a tremor louder than a barrage of thunder
Flint, full of trepidation, did a 360 and dashed off fast as a windy flames devour whilst cursing about his misfortune
“Sh*t! The world is playing word games with me! F**K!” roared Flint in his mind as he escaped into the distance
Unfortunately, the beast detected Flint’s presence and chased him down as if it was a hungry ghost trying to devour the limping clown in front of it.However, there was a small gap that Flint could barely fit in if he tried. Being determined to survive, he slide tackled into the tiny gap regardless of whatever was inside the gap.
“WTF!”
He slid down straight into water and soaked himself which was something he didn’t expect since he spent several days, trying to locate a water source. The ravenous lizard outside could only give up as it was too big to fit inside, feeling regretful that he wasn’t born with wings to quickly gobble its prey. Normally, it could easily catch up without even trying but its legs were wounded earlier therefore it was difficult for it to sprint.
Flint gave a sigh of relief and vowed to get out as soon as possible.Making absolute sure that the monster that haunted after him was gone.Flint surveyed the area and his surroundings was surprised to see a complex river-like structure beneath him.However, before exploring, he must quench his thirst first after realising he had forgotten about how thirsty he was due to the shock given earlier by the hideous lizard
But suddenly, he noticed a round, light purple fruit composed of raindrop-like pieces with swirls. Even though it gave Flint a bad premonition, even though it felt like the devil was in front of him, making Flint terrified
His stomach was having none of it
“Damn! Hope it’s not poisonous” he prayed silently
Using his remaining energy, he weakly raised his feeble hands and devoured the purple fruit…
